Free falling in a formless shape, barely an existence in this current state. A couple breaths of air balancing fate, but no more fear to contemplate.
A rabbit’s foot in my pocket to bring me some hope. A sign of death reminds me my hope in this rope will give me eternal rest.
Eyes closed, nirvana achieved, the rope of freedom suffocates the air I breathe. I open my eyes expecting to see the destroyer, but I only see an empty chair across from my Savior. He’s sitting there with a rope in his hand, telling me my sacrifice is not what he demands. Tells me that life is not always beautiful, it has some difficult times. Hard to believe, hard to cope, but don’t let yourself hang from this rope. I’ve defeated death so I can feel your shame, I’ve been nailed to a cross and felt all your pain.
I could feel the love in each word that he spoke, as the room got smaller I started to fade. I must have failed judgment for the decisions I made.
As my eyes open again and I’m standing on the chair, rope around my neck, I started to see. He carried my cross, so when I felt like life was to much, I can remember he already died for me.
