FACTS FRIDAY / TOP 3 Muscle Building MISTAKES ❌🤭
If you struggle putting on muscle mass, this post is for you 💪
I used to be that skinny guy.
I had a really hard time putting on muscle.
It has taken me up to 6 years to build a solid foundation of muscle mass BUT..
I could have sped this process up if I knew the things I know now.
I broke these 3 mistakes down into problems and solutions 👇
1️⃣ Simply not eating enough food.
Problem: You think you eat a lot, you eat big meals, take mass gainer but you wonder why you aren’t gaining weight?
Solution: Simply TRACK your food for at least 1 week to see how much you’re actually eating. Work from there.
2️⃣ NOT tracking progress.
Problem: You weigh yourself one day on the scale, don’t take progress photos and wonder why it’s not going up.
Solution: Weight fluctuates. You must weigh yourself consistently (3x a week minimum if not every day) in order to see a weekly trend. Take progress photos to compare them.
3️⃣ NOT prioritizing TECHNIQUE in the gym.
Problem: You lift with too much weight while compromising form. Not slowing down and controlling the movements. I used to do that.
Solution: Lower the weights, drop the ego, build a strong mind muscle connection.
