wowwwowow 5 sets?? who is she?? started week 5 of shreddy yesterday and my schedule is all messed up bc i skipped some days 🥴 haven’t really noticed any changes but i can tell i’m a bit stronger and don’t get worn out as easily even with adding extra weights/sets. trying to get away from the comfortable weights i use and work harder 💪🏼⁣

Some “light” benching today as I nurse my weird muscle strain in my intercostals (the muscles in between your ribs).

Getting stronger is pretty cool. This was 3x5 at 100 lbs. Easy.

Coming back from an injury is always a mind game, but it’s a good reminder that we all break down sometimes, and taking a step back isn’t a bad thing.

Most of the time it leads to bigger and better PR’s. Cheers to that! .

J’ai claqué une bonne séance de fractionné en côte aujourd’hui🤪😱 j’ai remarqué que plus la semaine s’avance plus c’est dur de fractionner 🙄🤪😑 donc, j’en ai chié bien comme il faut 😑😆🧐 mais en même temps qq soit le jour de la semaine l’effort reste très dur 😳🧐🤪 conclusion: j’arrête de me plaindre, le pire est passé 😆 jusqu’à la prochaine semaine 🤗😛

Вот это я убилась на интервальной беговой треньке в гору 😱🤪🧐 еле ноги носят теперь 😆 что вот заметила, чем дальше в трудовой неделе тем сложнее такие тренировки выносить 😒😳😆 с другой стороны , если пораскинуть мозгами , то интервальные тяжело даются в любое время недели 😆 так что перестаю жаловаться , самое тяжёлое прошло 😏😁 но это только до след недели 😝🤣

Trash form still but been working on my hip mobility, wrist mobility, shoulder mobility, tricep mobility, all the mobility and I can def see the difference with how high my elbows are compared to before. Still Working on dropping my butt down more and and bending at the knees first before the hips.

Genes can influence the likelihood of us sitting on the couch too often and too much, our tendency to become dependent on substances like alcohol and if we are extraverted or introverted. ⁠

 Genes can also predetermine body shape, hair color and eye color. I got my brown eyes from my Mom. I also got most of her personality including a little neuroticism. 😂⁠
I got the work ethic from my Dad. My sister got his eye color. ⁠

Most of our genetic predispositions are within our range of control. I, for instance, am an over-thinker. I analyze and look at the glass as half empty too. ⁠

This could and has affected my desire to get a workout in, reach for healthy food and even be productive at home. ⁠

Creating habits has helped me so much. If I stop my mind from wondering and continue on with my daily plans, I end up repeating behaviors that are desirable. ⁠
