REST DAYS 👉🏼⁣⁣

I’m about to get really busy for the next few days and years ago this would have sent me into a frenzy and I would have freaked out and often it would have led to binging (because I had that ‘f**k it’ mentality) or it would lead me to doing endless hours of cardio on the stair master for the following week 🤦🏽‍♀️⁣🙄⁣

Fast forward to my new found love of rest days because now I BLOODY LOVE THEM!⁣
⁣
Let me tell you WHY Rest Days are VITAL:⁣⁣
⁣⁣
✔️ Allows your Muscles To Grow - Your Muscle don’t grow during training they do the opposite, they tear - they ONLY grow during rest⁣⁣
✔️ Allows your body to recover and rebuild Stronger ⁣muscles ⁣
✔️ Allows you to refuel and have a better session the next time you train as you’ll have more energy ⁣⁣
✔️ Reduces Stress in your body - Vital for women who are experiencing Amenorrhea or irregular periods. ⁣⁣
✔️ Allows your body to repair any damage caused by intense training, including giving your heart a rest! ⁣⁣

I lost my mind for about 20 minutes today. 🤪
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I've really been trying to cut back on spending so I can pay off my student loans and my car note faster. And for about 20 minutes, I totally tried to justify giving up Plexus. 😬
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So I decided to go through each product and really decide if the benefit outweighed the cost. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here's what I honestly found....
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌱Triplex- I refuse to put the 80lbs back on that I've lost and struggle with moodiness, severe digestive issues, sugar addiction and eczema again, so that stays. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌱XFactor- my body doesn't absorb nutrients correctly bc of #MTHFR , so my multi-vitamin has to be fully methylated or my body suffers. I need to use one I trust. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌱Ease- I was a 200lb ball of severe inflammation inside and out prior to Plexus which made me look even fatter. Plus I need this for my knees when I run. This one I'll take until I die. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌱Vitalbiome- this prebiotic is legit my "happy pill" and I can tell when I haven't taken them. I like being in a good mood. My husband and kiddo like my good mood. That stays for sure. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌱Collagen- well this one is just purely selfish... kinda. It helps heal a leaky gut but also since I've started dumping it in my coffee in the a.m. people tell me my skin is glowing and my wrinkles are all gone... So hell yeah- that most certainly stays! Haha!

🌱Mega X- once again, I need methylated vitamins and I also need complete vitamins bc I have to eliminate a lot from my diet due to #hashimotos and #hypothyroid issues. Plus- when you take it with Probio5 it's the BEST SLEEP EVA!!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌱So there you have it.  Even those of us who are the biggest promoters of self care can have doubt creep in, but when it comes down to it- it's just not worth giving up and clinical results don’t lie. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
All of that helps me feel like I can give being a mom and a wife my all, and kick ass each and every day. ❤️😎
