Veal scaloppine with mushrooms 🍄 🥣Serves : 3
🕑Preparation : 30 mins
Recipe below ⬇️ INGREDIENTS :
▪️Veal cutlets 400 g
▪️mushrooms sliced (2 cups)
▪️Butter (2 tbsp)
▪️Flour (1/4 cup)
▪️Garlic (1 clove)
▪️Extra virgin olive oil (2 tbsp)
▪️Salt (about 1 tsp)
▪️Oregano (about 1 tsp)
▪️Black pepper ( about 1tsp)
▪️parsley 1 sprig
▪️white wine (1/4 glass)( optional )/vinegar
1- Combine in a bowl flour, salt , pepper, and the oregano. Lightly dust veal with flour mixture and than shake them to remove the excess flour.
2- Melt half the dose of butter adding the olive oil ,once melted, lay the floured veal slices, brown them , turning once about 4 mins per side ,untill the crust is formed and then transfer to a platter.
3-In the same pan where you cooked the meat, melt the other half of the butter, season with the whole clove of garlic ,add the sliced mushrooms and sauté over medium heat for two minutes, then add 1/3 cup of wine .cook over high heat until slightly reduced, 5 minutes.Add salt and pepper to taste .
4- Now add the slices ,cook over a low heat for a minute, adding a ladle of water if necessary,add the parsley,
Serve with crostini , or rice or sauted spinach and mashed potatoes
