I recognized I was craving some sugar so I took a pause to search within what was the need and saw that I was trying to do too many things all at once in a rushing manner. The brain was going into overload, seeking sugar to signal me to slow it down.
I took a breath and blended up this beauty 1/4 pineapples and one avocado and then went and took this photo barefoot to assist the body with all those stressors I created with thoughts. The cold is a beautiful way to bring you back into the present moment and using your breath to regulate the system.
Discover what your needs are so you can consciously supply them.
Be playful in the spaces you least like.

Evening guys, I know you can't see me completely in this video however the target muscle in question (the forearms) are still in the shot!

Reverse Curls are an exercise I will throw in to my training very rarely. I'm talking like less than once a month and I won't really bother to track what I am doing with them either!

That vague description that gets thrown out there often in bodybuilding known as 'muscle maturity' definitely applies to forearm development!

In my 15 years or so of training I may have added 5 inches to my arms however in my first year of training my arms arguably looked their most 'freaky' due to my biceps blowing up fast whilst my forearms still looked untrained.

Years of gripping bars and dumbbells will naturally elicit a growth response in your forearms meaning direct training may no longer be necessary.

IMO It's a good idea for most newbies to have regular forearm training in their programming.

Be careful to keep forearm training away from days when you require a strong grip, back/leg days and martial arts!

Been a minute! Baking took a back seat with all my travel, but made these Mini Apple Pie Bites last week 🍎
•
Ingredients-Crust
2c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp cinnamon
3 tbsp honey
3 tbsp coconut oil
1 egg or flax egg
•
Ingredients-Filling
1.5-2 cups of diced apples
1.5 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp coconut sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp pumpkin spice
•
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350
2. Mix dry and wet ingredients separately for the crust and then pour wet into dry.
3. Grease your muffin pan and put about two to three spoon fulls of mix and making a large cup in the middle.
4. Bake for 10-12 min or until golden brown
5. While crust is baking, use a sauce pan to combine all ingredients for the filling and cook for 4-5 minutes.
6. Once crust is completely cooked, add the filling!

saying 👋🏼 to fall with a stack of pumpkin pancakes inspired by @hungry.runner 😆 i ran out of kodiak cakes mix so i made my own batter + it was pretty good! i went a little overboard on the nutmeg, but luckily the yogurt topping toned it down.

at the last minute, i decided to play school soccer + today’s my first game since may! definitely a little nervous bc my body is not in soccer mode + i already got hurt at my first practice. pancakes are my confidence/mood boosting food, hence the large breakfast today, so i’m hoping everything goes well!!

INGREDIENTS:
• 1-2lbs organic ground beef (I used @butcher_box ) • 1.5-2 cups bone broth • 1 can organic pumpkin purée • 1 can each organic black beans & northern white beans, drained & rinsed • 1 cup-1 lb fresh or frozen butternut squash (I used 1 package pre-chopped from @sprouts ) • 1 zucchini, chopped • 1 tbsp chili powder • 1 tsp cumin • 3 garlic cloves minced • 1 tsp black pepper • 3/4-1 tsp cayenne (has a little kick, but it’s the perfect amount) • 1 tsp real salt • optional: 1 bunch of spinach chopped, added in a few minutes before serving 
DIRECTIONS:
• brown beef in a pan with salt, pepper, & the garlic • add broth & seasonings to Crockpot • add beans, beef, squash, & pumpkin and mix everything together • cook on low for about 6 hours or high for 3-4 • top w/ cilantro or anything else you want! • enjoy! 🧡🎃
