Since alot of you asked here's the recipe for Coconut Macaroons. Its super easy n reminds me of "childhood". Its not all bad since there's alot of coconut. So its kid friendly too
🥥 200g - Coconut (Desiccated or fresh scraped coconut toasted a bit in the oven or pan)
🥥 141g - Milk maid
🥥 1 tsp - Vanilla
🥥 1/4 tsp - Almond extract (if u have. If not skip it. I didnt have. So i didnt add)
🥥 1 large egg white
🥥 Pinch of salt
🍭Any kind of sprinkles
preheat oven to 176C
🥥Combine Milkmaid, vanilla, and almond extract. 🥥 Mix in the coconut. 🥥 In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites and salt until stiff peaks. 🥥 Fold the egg whites into the coconut mixture and gently fold in some sprinkles (if u want sprinkles in the macaroons. If not skip it). 🥥 Use an ice cream scoop or a round spoon to scoop it out on to a baking sheet. 🥥 Top with some sprinkles. 🥥 Bake until golden brown - Check for doneness at 18 minutes. 🥥 I kept for abt 20-25 mins. 🥥 I just looked out for the colour. remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes on the pans. 🥥 Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. 🥥 Store in the fridge.
🍫 If u like u can even coat the bottom with some melted chocolate. And let it cool in the fridge. .
