Being a parent is probably one of the hardest jobs especially when your home with your child most of the time.
Add on top of that being a single mom, having to do everything yourself & not having the extra hand from the other parent makes it 10x harder.
And then add on top of that, that your child is sassy 3 1/2 year old that wants what she wants, likes to throw tantrums & loves the word no.
So many people tell me that age is so fun and don’t get me wrong.. when she’s a happy little girl who listens.. yes it’s amazing!
But when she turns into this child I don’t even recognize when she can’t get what she wants & you have to send her into time out 5+ times in a row.. it gets exhausting & emotional.
Their has to be some of you moms who can relate with me on this one?
My biggest peice of advice would be to not give in, to stick to your guns & don’t be the parent who is so exhausted that you let them get away with what they wanted all along.
It’s not going to be easy, you may want to cry, you may feel anger, you may get anxious but don’t give up.
Because they need to learn that we are the boss & they can’t control us.
And when we stick to our guns, they will finally realize that they can’t get their way & they will calm down, come to their senses & be that loving child we remember.
When we have those rough days with our crazy little ones just know your doing the right thing even if it doesn’t seem like it in the moment.
Because at the end of the day.. it is ALL worth it! 👩👧 - 1 hour ago
