I have a lot of people who ask me, "why do I need to pay so much for a haircut? My hair is curly so it already has a style" 😬 well yes, u do have a style, but do u have a shape? I shape hair. I listen to what it wants and what will work best. And when you haven't been shaped in a few years/ if ever, I'm gonna have to take some length. .
This specific lady had not so curly hair on the underneath/bottom of there hair and at the roots. So I had to take the bottom length shorter so when I shaped the middle and too, she wouldn't look like a jelly fish
I took about an hour on the haircut alone. I like to isolate ever curl and create what I like to call a faded end. Instead of cutting straight across, I glide my shears down about two inches so the ends just fade into themselves. Each section I went a little higher so we could get some layers and a shape in there!
When cleansing her hair I used Hairstory New Wash in the "Rich" version. "Rich" is great for curly hair that needs extra moisturize. I styled it with Hairstory Hair Balm. I scrunched in two pumps and once the hair was dry I added one more pump for the fly aways. (Link in bio for Hairstory Product. First time purchase gets 20% Off at checkout with my link🥰)
I know this was a huge, excuse me, A HUGE CHANGE for her 🤗 but I believe once she gets to know her hair with a shape, she will never look back! Until next time .
