Amen to this... I’d definitely say that working out really helps my mind as well as my body, but particularly doing yoga more and more recently has made me feel more peaceful! It’s really struck a chord with me. I used to think it wasn’t real exercise but now I’ve been practising it more and more, and now doing a yoga course, I’ve actually realised why some people find it so life changing 🧘🏼‍♀️✨
Another thing that makes my soul blissfully happy is music. I play a few instruments but had my first ever drumming lesson from my husband today 🥁

Have you ever felt uncomfortable?

I feel uncomfortable A LOT!! Like.... a lot! 
Today, my Boss got us all together via Zoom, as we do regularly thought the week and instead of a meeting, today we did something GOOD for US!! Yoga!

Can I be real for a second..... the last thing I wanted, was for anyone to see my body struggling to do what should be simple movements...(plus you guys I couldn’t find my sports bra...)
But.... everyone else had their cameras on... so I though
Ok... let’s do it!

So as we started even just sitting on our mats... those thoughts crept in
You know those little voices??
You look stupid
Oh my gosh you shouldn’t be doing this.. you’re too out of shape

And dare I mention the one that I hate to admit I think too often.... You’re...
Too....
Fat for this.

And in totally honestly, the women I work with, my friends and my family love me and don’t give a rats ass how “big” I am!

This is a ME thing, I know! But I’m kind of over feeling like this!

So as I was fighting the urge to close my camera and silently give up, I thought...
Actually
I’m going to get right raw here.... I instead started recording myself!

Enter an idea!

I’m going to do something EVERYDAY to move my body and start getting in shape!!!
And I’ll document it so we can LAUGH together, keep each other inspired and help each other through this particularly rough time

Hope you're having an amazing week so far! I know right now, there's a ton of focus on home trainings, so I wanted to share my upper body workout with you.⁠⠀

I was fortunate enough to find my old gym gear when all the gyms shut down, so I can do most of my exercises with a decent load.🙏🏼🙏🏼⁠⠀

Now, it doesn't mean you absolutely NEED all this equipment - but considering the quarantine may last longer than another month, I highly recommend investing in a pair of dumbbells and a resistance band - it will do wonders for you!🔥⁠⠀

Happy summer, happy #runner oder so ähnlich 🤪. Der Frühling, der morgens noch ein Winter ist, gibt tagsüber ja echt alles ein Sommer zu werden... Also nichts wie raus nach dem Homeoffice und eine schöne Runde gedreht - aber denkt bitte immer daran: #runalone damit wir hoffentlich bald #flattenthecurve erreichen 🙏! Manchen Gassigehern und Spaziergängen scheint das nach wie vor schwer zu fallen - ich entdecke sie immer wieder in Rudelbildung 🤦🏼‍♀️.

Shape check! Na 3 weken voeding niet on point gehad te hebben ben ik toch niet ontevreden met mijn huidige shape. Ben ik nu nog heel hard aan het cutten? Nee. Ik doe het iets rustiger aan. Als straks alles weer wat normaler is, ga ik wel weer wat strenger zijn voor mezelf, maar ik merk dat ik dat nu minder goed kan hendelen. I use to drown myself in the phrase of “I’ll start Monday.” I knew what I wanted, to feel confident, feel healthy, have more energy & look good. Our health is the answer to practically everything, but I just didn’t want it bad enough. 
Everything else was always more important. It was easy to make excuses & I “never had the time” 🙄

But PSA: PEOPLE GIVE EFFORT TO WHATS IMPORTANT TO THEM. The problem with this is, you should be at the top of the list. You only get one you, one body, one life. It’s important. You can’t pour from an empty cup. You share the overflow. Take care of yourself first!

Ask yourself how bad do you want it? Notice your excuses. 
Is it time? It only takes 30 minutes a day. My workouts can be done from home, too. So no unnecessary gym time. 
Is it money? I bet you spend it on other “important” things that you could spare for one month. Goodbye iced coffee, bar tabs & anything else that isn’t serving you. My plans range from $99-$200 for the YEAR. No monthly payments, no excuses. 
Is it motivation? That’s why I have a fit club community full of others killing their goals to motivate each other.

This is how I have been keeping track of my at home workouts over the course of quarantine. I found an old desk calendar and tailored with a countdown for several important dates, a space for logging my weight, workouts, burned calories and a space to journal about that day. I've gotta be brutally honest...I was struggling with my unhealthy eating habits when this whole COVID-19 craziness went down.🙀

In one day I had drank FIVE cups of coffee, ate TWO donuts, some chips AND a small Blizzard.☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️🍩🍩

I rationalized it by working out at 8 pm that night. 🤦🏼‍♀️

👉🏼The next day I was back on track with healthier macro tracking, but what if you're stuck and can't seem to get out of the junk/comfort/processed food cycle?
Here's my TOP 3 TIPS🤓

1️⃣Take Notes:
One very effective way to find out the what, where, and when of emotional eating is to begin a process of keeping a journal.📖

 Much of the drives to engage in emotional eating are subconscious, so keeping a journal will be a powerful tool in discovering what the circumstances or experiences may be that lead to a session of emotional eating.🥴

2️⃣Take Action:
After you’ve spent some time taking notes, compiling information, and asking yourself key questions, you may find what some of the major triggering events might be.🧐

 If you have asked yourself the questions and found that you were less than a 6 in hunger, and cravings appear during specific situations, you could be stress eating.😖

3️⃣Take Care:
Alternatively, other methods such as exercise and deep breathing can be very effective in managing stress in the moment, or at the end of your day.🧘🏼‍♀️

 Shallow breathing has been found to increase stress in the body, so spending the time to allow your body a chance to concentrate on breathing can lead to many health benefits.😍

Féltem tőle, de túl vagyok rajta. Minél kevesebb ch-t viszek be, annál inkább tartok az edzésektől pl. a mellnaptól. Nagyon hiányoznak az aerob ill. kardio edzések☹️ és ez kihat a fogyásra is. 
Sajnos kevesebbet fogyok hetente nélkülük, így nem érek célba az általam kitűzött időre. Szóval min. 5 hét van hátra a diétából! Pozitívum, hogy már feljött rám a kedvenc farmerom😏
