How are some people able to beat the war between food, exercise, and body image while others cannot?

It’s their ability to foster resilience.
It their ability to see pain, failure, and grief as temporary, and not mountains they can’t climb.

You cannot outrun your struggles with a specific program, challenges, or any other BS related to that nature.

Your issue is not having the right workout program.

Your answer lies when you can get brutally honest with yourself and find what it is that you are truly running from or running to.

Some days I am ready to start the day with everything I want to accomplish in mind while other days I am less motivated and don’t feel like working out, doing school work, etc. And that’s totally NORMAL. However, if you let a lack of motivation take over then that’s where you will start to have a problem.

Here are some tips to help you stay motivated💪🏼
✨MAKE SPECIFIC GOALS. We all have general goals such as working out or loosing weight but those are way too general. If weight loss is your goal make it measurable say you want to lose 5 pounds or go on 2 runs a week. The more quantifiable your goals are, the easier it is to plan.
✨VISUALIZE. Try imaging yourself achieving your goals and how it makes you feel. See that more effort now can contribute to future well being.
✨PLAN. Try to plan your workouts or any activities in order to have less of an excuse. Make a to do list and check everything off.
✨SURROUND YOURSELF WITH INSPIRATION. Whether it’s following accounts that motivate you, making a vision board, or the people your surround yourself with, make sure that the energy in your life is keeping you motivated and not leading you on the wrong path. •

Just remember that 1 month of hard work seems like a long time but when the month is over you will be glad that you put in the effort. Don’t let time pass you by without achieving your goals. Don’t let that month pass by and you realized you did absolutely nothing. TAKE ACTION⚡️

First bash at the "X" frame wasn't too shabby. Still 5 weeks to go here and plenty of work was still to be done. Plans are to outsmash this X by November.

Laid low for a while mulling over my thoughts on my next steps whilst giving my body a well deserved break after dieting since last October til March! I personally felt like this was the best thing for me since my April comp got cancelled. I have still kept training most days a week but I have been enjoying my food whilst I can. Whilst most of you know me as the raging duracell gym bunny, my (controlled and active) rest period is just as important to me, as I find my body responds better after some relaxation.

Anyway - thought process complete and have big exciting new plans for the end of 2020 and next year and I am so  fucking ready to start the next chapter with a slightly different direction (with a few people I love and admire)! .

Of course I am forever grateful for those that have helped me so far. New week new goals let's GO - end of rest 🤩🙌🏼
