I get asked a lot if I still get sore because I workout 5-6 days a week..
The answer... YES 💀
I still get sore,
especially when I switch things up and target different muscles I have a tendency to neglect (*cough triceps* *cough hamstrings* 😂)
But yesterday I hit back pretty hard and my lats were RIDICULOUSLY sore this morning 🥺
This kind of soreness use to frustrate me, and would make me think I should just skip the gym and just not move all day 😅
But that’s not the answer 🤓
Move 👏🏻 your 👏🏻 body.
Slowly warm up those muscles and break down all that lactic acid built up making you feel sore.
On days I’m extra sore,
I make sure I warm up extra good 🔥
Then after I get my body moving and complete my workout,
I make sure to foam roll really well afterwards 😌
Epson salt baths are also really good for sore muscles and of course make sure you are staying hydrated 👏🏻
I’m also NOT SAYING rest days aren’t important, because they definitely are vital to allow your body/muscles time to rest/recover/rebuild.
But don’t let soreness keep you from going back.
It’s all apart of the process & I know it’s bittersweet 🤷🏼♀️...
