Stretching, core, and hip mobility. โ€œEasyโ€ run yesterday took a toll on me. Trail conditions and motivation werenโ€™t the greatest. Today it carried through. Not every day or workout will be a good one. 3 days out from Groundhog 1/2 marathon. No goals with this one. - For years Iโ€™d stay in my comfort zone and shut other practices down because I thought you had to โ€œnaturallyโ€ be flexible or โ€œtalentedโ€ at something in order to pursue it. Which is absolutely not true as through practice and patience Iโ€™ve come further than I could have imagined. .
- Through working with great teachers Iโ€™ve come to realise that itโ€™s all about taking the appropriate steps and not thinking too far ahead. - All these intricate movements can be dissected into parts, which you can hone individually before integrating them into the desired goal.
