With confidence on the rings growing I'm starting to attempt harder exercises/tricks/skills whatever you want to call them😅. However I may have bitten off more than I could chew with some of them.

I think its important to remember what level you are at and not to try to overreach your grasp. I'm not saying dont challenge yourself and attempt new things however I would say be mindful that you dont risk injury by attempting to lift more weight than you can or performing an exercise you cannot currently do. 
Train smart, for instance in my case I have many years under the belt when it comes to resistance training however I have little to no experience with calesthenics/gymnast training meaning just because I can squat, bench and deadlift more than the average gym user(just about😅) doesn't mean that I will be able to get on the rings and start smashing out some stylish sexy AF movements😂. Now despite the two having transferable qualities they are in no way the same, thus I need to keep in mind to master the basics of calesthenics to build up a foundation of strength for the rings before trying to do the more advanced movements. Likewise a calesthenics pro whom has never squated wouldnt simply get in the squat rack and go for a 1RM without properly understanding the technique and getting adequate volume under the belt to build that base strength for the specific exercise/style of training.

Knowledge is power, patience is a vertue. Dont rush it, take time, build a solid foundation with adequate working volume, ensure you are always challenged, and enjoy the process ✌🤟🏻👌🏻.

The L Hang is a static strength exercise performed on a pull-up bar, high-bar or gymnastics rings. Similar in form to the L-Sit (except performed in a hanging position), the L Hang requires shoulder and arm strength to sustain the hold and very strong abs and hips to hold the legs parallel to the ground.

The L Hang is a difficult exercise requiring considerable strength to hold. Begin by training for the slightly easier L-Sitexercise (not performed in a hang position) before progressing to the hanging variation.

You can go with a wide grip or more narrow. You choose 😜

Beginner tips:

Build up endurance with easier isometric exercises such as planks, bridges and the non-hanging L-sit

Rather than holding the hanging l-sit for time, perform repetitions of hanging leg raises to build up strength

Hang with the knees bent rather than straight legs to decrease difficulty

I absolutely love my rings, they gave me a little reminder over the last few days I haven’t utilised enough recently as the DOMS is real. Ouch!⁣

Na górze idziemy aż do pełnego przywiedzenia łącząc dłonie. Ten wariant jest dużo bardziej wymagający i efektywny niż klasyczne pompki. Sory za jakość, nagrywałem po zmroku ;)

Ring Eccentric Half Lay Front Lever

I love this exercise. Strong contraction in my lats and triceps. I am working on slowing it down over time. When I incorporate eccentrics in my training I like to focus more on quality rather than quantity.

Uma vez fiz um curso onde o professor passou um vídeo de uma aula de educação física na periferia da China, onde o professor deu uma aula maravilhosa usando apenas um barbante e a quadra esburacada do bairro.

Os resultados não estão nos materiais ou onde você treina. Estão dentro de você e na sua INTENÇÃO.

Parece bobo, mas uma vez tive um insight que mexeu comigo: quando menino, meu pai tinha um boteco e eu ajudava ele, em um dia fiquei observando que sempre, por mais "duro" que o cara estava, para beber e comprar um cigarro solto ele dava um jeito de achar as moedas ou pedir a um amigo.
Acho que foi meu primeiro insight da vida de que 'quem quer dá um jeito'.

Uma fat bar de metal custa em torno de 200 a 250 reais... Bom, esta minha ai eu gastei uma mixaria pois fiz com um cano de esgoto pvc de 75mm.

Você pode comprar um cano desses e encher de cimento, fazendo vários tamanhos (vários pesos diferentes).
.
Aprendi ao longo da vida que quem faz, vai fazer de qualquer jeito... Quem não faz, também não faz de qualquer jeito.

Em qualquer circunstância sempre tem o jeito de fazer e também sempre, sempre, tem a desculpa.
.
Como este ano meu foco é deixar minha pegada e cotovelo indestrutíveis (tal qual dos alunos do studio) eu "perdi" um tempo fazendo alguns materiais para variar os estímulos. Mais pra frente faço um vídeo mostrando estes materiais simples e baratos que você pode fazer para acrescentar no seu treino ou para seu aluno.

It was worth lugging a weight plate to the park for some weighted chins. And I threw in a cheeky L-Sit lowering which felt surprisingly ok!  All that pike compression work is paying off. Thanks @mr___pep 🙏
