👗👗 Here’s one of my favorites before, during, after pics for transformation. I lost most of the weight in the first 3 months I went keto. I can’t remember the exact numbers but it was around 45lbs down at 3 months then abt 5 lbs a month after that for a few months then I stalled. I stalled for months, I really just am getting out of the stall by following a stricter low carb carnivore Keto Diet but I genuinely like how Keto makes me feel even if I wasn’t losing the weight I knew the answer wasn’t going back to carbs. I had to take a look back on my progress so far to slap myself back into reality. So what if I hadn’t lost lbs in a few months? I still did so well the first few. Also, I lost zero more lbs but dropped two inches off my waist alone in a month! The scale doesn’t matter! take pics! Compare progress that the scale can’t measure.
My main goal was to look good in my wedding dress and I did that even though I wasn’t at my “goal weight”
I hear so much “I’m not losing much” we can’t compare ourselves to others. Do you have 100 lbs to lose like I realistically did? If not, then your weight isn’t going to come off the same. It may be slower but it’s still progress. I used to try and work out daily(2014) but I couldn’t work off my bad diet and didn’t lose an lb so even losing 5 in a month is a huge accomplishment in my eyes!

The anatomy of a salad that doesn’t suck.
🥬Green leafies of your choosing - 4 leaf mix.
🥕A couple of different colours - carrot, red cabbage.
🍠Something roasted with spices - butternut squash.
🥦Some blanched cruciferous- broccoli florets.
🍚A bit of of carbohydrate - leftover brown rice (also fibre)
🥑Some good fats - walnut pieces (double as crunch) and light sprinkle of olive oil
🥓Flavour bombs - bacon bits and sliced olives.

Say no to bland and boring salads. Make something delicious and you’ll be more likely to eat your vegetables.

Lots of goodness in this bowl but even I find it hard to convince myself to eat well if it doesn’t taste good too.

ITS ME TIME

Kids can be stubborn. But that’s because they know what they want.
-
They want yummy sweet food, not veggies. So how do you get them to eat their veggies?
-
By sprinkling a little cheese or sugar or something that they really enjoy! Then you sit back and watch as those veggies go down without hesitation.
-
The same practicality goes for you and how you solve your inner troubles.
-
Often times addressing the obstacle head on is tough, and so what I recommend is to include a daily activity that you really enjoy doing. For me it’s fitness; for you perhaps the same or something else. But by engaging in that daily activity, you’re able to generate positive momentum, that will soften the stress of approaching your obstacles.

I’m good days it’s easy to solve stuff. On bad days, the last thing you want to do is address that in which troubles you. Relying on how you feel is it always going to keep you moving forward. And so what you must do, is find something, that does.

Just imagine if you were a child again; how would you eat your veggies?
