I LOST 2 KILOGRAMS IN 2 DAYS!! 🤔

Well, that's what I read on the scale.😁 HOW? I was sick so I barely ate or drank anything for 2 days (fasted weightloss). Am I fitter? NO

Am I stronger? NO

Am I healthier? NO

Did I lose fat? NO

Is the scale reading a true measure of my wellbeing? Absolutely not!! The "weight" I lost according to the scale reading is water weight.  It will be replaced as I recover and eat and hydrate. 
When you're on a diet, the weight you lose is water weight. It is not fat loss. It is not something you will sustain for a long period of time.

When to weigh yourself? To determine if you're in the normal, overweight or obese category, to measure your BMI as an indicator of your health.

If you're in the normal weight range and want to look better (if that's your goal), work on body composition. #fatloss #toning

I get asked this question a lot... And well, the answer is - it depends!!

❓Are you looking for more of a fat burning effect?
Then you may just be able to dig into those fat stores a little bit better when you train if you do so in a fasted state.
❓Are you training to perform?
Then yes, you should definitely eat beforehand! Your power output and maximum performance will be much greater if you have eaten before training than if you haven’t ingested anything!

So whilst you may burn more fat if you train on an empty stomach you may also burn more calories in total if you eat beforehand as you’ll be able to perform better in that session.
