Happy January 17th! It’s the day most people decide to quit on their New Year’s resolutions.

We’re still going strong with Whole30 and working out every day. The morning routine is stellar. The (almost) daily walks are restorative for our health and relationship.

January 17th. It’s 14 degrees outside where live right now. 
Today marks the day where the average person that set a news years resolution to get in shape or start exercising, or join that gym finally, GIVE UP. 😢👎 Why do I share with you every day? Because I see it all around me. People that want a healthier lifestyle style who start then stop. 😱

I share what I do only to get responses like:
💥 but I’m not in shape like you are
💥 I just need to lose a few pounds first
💥 it’s just easier to go to a gym
💥 but you eat so good. I can’t do that. 💥 I don’t have the space at home 💥 I don’t have weights like you do. 
ALL excuses. I make them in parts of my life to. We all do. It’s human nature. 🤷‍♂️ I started in a small upper apartment with one set of dumbbells. That’s it. The gym waofor me anymore and I know I needed a change. So I gave this a shot and it changed everything for me. 💯💪❤️ Why do I share this? ✅ Because I don’t want you to quit on you. ✅ because I see people in my accountability groups that victories everyday. ✅ Because not sharing the is just not fair to you all. ✅ Because going to a gym on a 14 degree day at 5:30 am sucks. ✅ Because I CARE. 💯❤️ So if you are the person at the top of this post and are wanting to give up on you. My dad announced yesterday that he’d like the family to try the #carnivorediet. My parents have been on the #ketodiet for a couple of years and I joined them in July 2019. Now we’re gonna try as a family more of an #animalfoods diet—it is #WorldCarnivoreMonth after all! Since I’m a 14-year-old girl, some have expressed concerns about kids like me eating a #meatbaseddiet. I’m going to share why I’m not concerned at all. *

There is so much bad information out there about #eatingmeat it’s not even funny. Knowing that most of it is #vegandiet propaganda promoted in #plantbased documentary films like The Game Changers and What The Health, it’s easy to not take it seriously. Eating meat gives you cancer. You’ll clog your arteries eating all that meat and fat. It’s unhealthy to eliminate fiber from your diet. I guess they think if they keep saying it that it becomes true.  But none of these accusations against meat have ever been found in any quality research. *

Unfortunately, most girls my age have bought into those lies about meat. The funny thing is teenagers would be surprised how much #goodnutrition is in this #realfood they are avoiding. Of course, teens are gobbling down plates of carbs everyday thinking they’re getting healthy eating that way. And they think it’s all about #weightloss by #cuttingcalories. If you know Keto Teen Meghan, then you know my stance on #calories is that they don’t matter as much as we’ve been led to believe. *

Food quality and #nutrientdensity matter in the foods you are eating. The most nutritious #superfoods in the entire world aren’t kale, chia seeds, beans, or fake meat-like burgers. PCOS ruled my life, for years. .
It made me second guess everything I would eat, it made me feel like a crazy person, it gave me anxiety/ depression and it ruined my self confidence.

I was extremely active in high school I played all the sports and was an average size back then. It was when I started college the weight started packing on. .
At first I totally thought it was the freshman 15 everyone was buzzing about, but even when I tried to go back to the gym or ate healthier I was still gaining weight like a crazy person.

I didn’t have my period for almost 6 months, I finally went to a doctor and that’s when I was diagnosed.

I was placed on metformin and I felt like it did nothing for me and mind you metformin is made for people with diabetes which I was not diagnosed with.

The years following were awwwwwful. I still was gaining weight, random people were asking if I was PREGNANT and the fact that people were asking me when I was due and I had to respond, I’m not pregnant... mortifying.

Then I was sleeping all the time, in between college classes I would go out to my car and sleep even if I had gotten 12 hrs of sleep the night before. .
I was miserable. .
I watch a documentary called food matters, I started small with clean eating and then I slowly got back to the gym buuuuut mind you at this point I was about 200 pounds. .
I was strict on myself and never went off my eating habit or working out. I lost about 45 pounds by doing this. I felt pretty good about my size but I still was having so many PCOS symptoms daily including cystic acne. .
This is where plexus came in, this is where I started to feel like a PERSON again.

I lost 30 more pounds or so and I was able to finally maintain it. I started having normal food in my diet and wasn’t afraid to gain ten pounds by eating a piece of freaking pizza. .
Gut health happened and to this day over 3 years later, I’m still on my health journey and I’m PCOS symptom free thanks to being consistent with these products! They gave me my life back.

8.6 pounds down! I have to tell you I just feel so much better, mentally and physically. 
What’s different? I can walk up the stairs without getting winded, my clothes are fitting better, I don’t feel bloated, Im more confident, my joints aren’t aching anymore. I’m so hopeful and happy ⭐️ with every pound I let go of more than just weight. With every pound I’m forgiving myself, with every pound I accept one more gift the universe has for me. There really aren't a lot of photos of me from 2016-2018 as I was suffering from chronic hives and swelling if my face and joints during that time.

I didn't feel human and the last thing I wanted was a camera in my face.

I can't even believe the difference I feel now. Not only am I physically lighter but mentally and emotionally too. Deciding to eat lowcarb was the starting point of many changes in my life as well as my family. 
My mom suffers from chronic inflammation due to fibromyalgia and we suspect she has celiac disease. My mom-in law has just been diagnosed with insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes. 
I have now been able to completely eliminate bread, pasta, sugar and rice from our home. The ladies even look at food labels and count carbs before they buy anything😂 It's baby steps but every bit counts!
