I found great new delicacies like raw frozen beef suet, fried chicken gizzards, grass fed grass finished beef, home made bone broth, broiled alien hands(chicken feet), tendons and eating bones. I didn’t even miss bacon. 🦴

Bon je viens de me rendre compte que j’ai inversé la journée du mardi et du mercredi 😅 Donc j’ai continué sur la même lancée, c’est rien de grave je ferai le menu de mardi demain 🙃 Au dîner ce soir, une escalope de dinde accompagné d’une sauce à la moutarde, un mélange de 5 céréales et des carottes râpées 🥕 Par contre j’ai oublié les champignons de la recette alors que j’en avais 😩 Pour le dessert je mangerai du fromage et un fruit si jamais j’en ai envie un peu plus tard ! Greek yogurt is one of those "magic" high protein, low fat/carb foods that you all see in the fitness IG world. But is it always automatically the best choice? 🤔IT DEPENDS... on what type you get!

I was walking through the grocery store and I noticed that @chobani had a bunch of different types of greek yogurt... 0% or whole fat, but also "fruit on the bottom" and "blended" and "flips"! I checked out the nutritional info for all of them and saw consistently the same thing: All of them have a fair amount of added sugars, except for good ole plain. 🤓

I've been doing more reading that suggests that sugar may or may not be inherently bad for you (science is still figuring this out). But why consuming *too much* sugar is not good is that it is all EMPTY calories, or calories that don't bring you any nutritional value or satiety, which in turn, will cause you to overindulge or overeat. This act of overeating is what can lead to obesity and other negative long term health impacts.⚡️

Instead of reaching for the flavored yogurts, I always opt for plain and eat my own add-ins: peanut butter, nuts, coconut, fruit, etc... but by doing my own toppings, I can control the amount and quality of my ingredients!
