I love loaded breakfast bowls! Usually I break my intermittent fast with hard boiled pasture-raised eggs for high quality protein but I’m craving extra veggies today!

I sautéed organic broccoli and spinach in grass fed bone broth, added pasture-raised eggs, organic salsa, and left over sweet potato fries at the end. I love drinking elixir’s in the morning or as an afternoon snack when my sweet tooth kicks in.:) I was inspired to make a modified version without the caffeine.

This creamy, naturally sweetened and delicious drink will definitely satisfy your afternoon craving!

Chocolate Nutty Elixir (makes one large mug)
.
• 2 cups of coconut or almond milk (I mix both)
• 1/4 cup of Brazil nuts (or cashews)
• 2 medjool dates
• 1 tbsp almond butter
• 1 pack of Four Sigmatic Lion’s Mane Mushroom Elixir mix or 1 tbsp of Dandy Blend (herbal coffee replacement)
• 1 tbsp cacao powder
• 1/2 tsp of vanilla
• 1/2 tsp of cinnamon

Mix all the ingredients in a high power blender then heat on the stovetop in a pot. Serve in a your favorite giant mug! Enjoy!

{NEW} Hearty Burrito Bowls for Meal Prep from.

Makes 4 servings/bowls⠀
⠀
Ingredients:⠀
2 cups cooked quinoa, or cooked brown rice⠀
1 cup frozen, or homemade fire-roasted organic sweet corn, thawed⠀
1 (15 oz. can) organic black beans, drained and rinsed⠀
lime wedges, to garnish⠀
jalapeno slices to garnish⠀
Picco de gallo:⠀
2 cups chopped fresh tomatoes⠀
1 small white onion, diced⠀
1-2 jalapeños, seeded and chopped⠀
a good handful of fresh cilantro leaves, chopped⠀
juice and zest of 1 lime⠀
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to your taste⠀
⠀
Burrito meat:⠀
2 lbs ground turkey or grass fed beef⠀
1 Tbsp olive or avocado oil⠀
1 (15 oz. jar) fire roasted diced tomatoes, with juice⠀
1 cup organic tomato sauce⠀
2 tsps chili powder⠀
2 tsps ground cumin⠀
1/2 tsp ground coriander seed⠀
1 tsp onion powder⠀
1 tsp paprika⠀
sea salt and pepper to taste, about 1/4 teaspoon each⠀
Instructions:⠀
⠀
Heat a heavy skillet over medium-high heat, and once hot add in your oil. Add in the ground meat and cook, breaking it up with a wooden spoon to evenly brown it, about 6-8 minutes.⠀
⠀
Once the meat is evenly browned, then drain excess grease.⠀
Sprinkle cooked and drained meat with seasonings and stir in your fire roasted tomatoes, and tomato sauce; cook until its thick and bubbling, about 10 minutes.⠀

Once your meat sauce has thickened, remove from the heat and let cool.⠀
⠀
In a medium to large glass bowl, gently stir together your pico de gallo ingredients, taste test and adjust as you like.⠀
⠀
To assemble these beautiful meal prep bowls, evenly divide your cooked quinoa/rice among four glass containers.⠀

Arrange the burrito meat equally next to the quinoa, then add beans, corn, and pico de gallo as shown.⠀

15 ounce canned diced tomatoes with their juices
4 ounces tomato paste
6 cups vegetable broth low sodium
1 small white cabbage chopped
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onions, garlic, celery and carrots and sauté for a few minutes until fragrant and tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste, oregano and cayenne.
2. Stir in the diced tomatoes and the tomato paste and mix well with the other ingredients. Add the vegetable broth and bring to a boil. Stir in the cabbage and simmer for 20 minutes until cabbage softens.
3. Taste the soup and adjust seasoning as needed.

For a long time i was hearing my mother and sometimes my #grandmother telling that they always eaten #blackeyedpeas with #sardines and not tuna and i was thinking that they were going crazy😂😂😂 After i have tried sardines in #saladbowls and with #quinoa and i love it and i took the desicion and i have try it with my food!! The result was reallly unexpected!! The saltiness of the sardines which i took them canned in water was so amazing and #tastyfood that make me think that i have always listen to my mother!! My husband's aunt and uncle (which btw are the sweetest people you'll ever meet) raise the most amazing antibiotic and hormone free, non-GMO, pastured pigs and were kind enough to supply me with gorgeous leaf fat that I render into lard mainly for my goat milk soaps, but today I played around with adding some to my body butter recipe and OH MY GOODNESS it is heavenly!! I have chronic dry skin and this soothed the rawest places on my hands without any redness or burning and absorbs into my skin with no greasy residue like a lot of other moisturizers I've tried. I'll be testing this recipe over the next few weeks and hope to have it available locally soon ❤🐖
