BABY SAVE SUNDAY! Cayson was saved in September of 2015 when his mom Layodesi realized that her little boy hadn’t been kicking her all night like usual. She knew that was a red flag, and knew she needed to do a kick count to monitor his movement. Mom shared this powerful story: “It was Labor Day 2015 and my husband and I were making a big breakfast as he had the day off. We had joked about going into labor on Labor Day day for the weeks leading up to it. I remember feeling so refreshed that my little guy didn't wake me up kicking and moving all night like he usually did, but I knew it was a red flag and started doing everything I could to get him to move. 
I drank some cold orange juice and walked up and down some stairs, but got no movement, so I called my doctor and was told to come to the hospital right away as the clinic was closed for the holiday. I was hooked up for a non-stress test followed by an ultrasound where he didn't move or breathe on his own. The tech called the doctor and as she hung up she said, ‘You're going to be having this baby today!’ I was induced within minutes. After he was here and healthy my doctor came up to me, squeezed my arm tight and said, ‘I'm so happy you came in, this could have ended so differently for you today.’ Tears streamed down my face as I looked past her, staring at my healthy baby in his bassinet.” Way to know what’s normal for your baby, mama, and speak up when you notice a change!

Breakfast keto muffins that I'll have for dinner! 😀
Filled with mushrooms, smoked ham, spring onion and grated cheese.
Mix eggs with some heavy cream, pinch of baking powder, salt&pepper and some fresh or dry herbs.
Mix well and pour in muffin mold over chopped veggies and meat.
Bake on 175C for 15 to 20 minutes.
I served it with a mix of sour cream, herbs and red hot sauce (since pregnancy I'm eating hot food it seems)

Mommy’s little Valentine! Baby Save Nevaeh turned two earlier this month! This sweet little Valentine was saved when her mom woke up in the middle of the night not feeling well and made sure to do a kick count to check on Nevaeh’s well-being. When her little sweetheart wasn’t moving like normal, mom Deanna drove herself to the local hospital to get checked. The doctors determined that Nevaeh was in distress, and delivered her quickly via Cesarean. “The doctors each day said it was a miracle to see us both alive and we both had a long recovery. They were also thankful I knew of Count the Kicks and did them every day, and that, they wish more moms did. They both said if I would've driven an hour to where I was to deliver or cleaned my house it would have been too late. Jesus and Count the Kicks saved my little girl’s life.”

🌿 Corta el queso mozzarella con la ayuda de un cortador de galleta en forma de corazón.

🍝 PLATO FUERTE
👩🏻‍🍳 PASTA PASIÓN
💙 Spaghetti de vegetales Lucchetti
🌿 Hierve el agua con un chorrito de aceite de oliva, sal y 3 hojas de laurel. Agrega la pasta y deja que se cocine por 11 min.
💙 200g de pechuga de pollo en fajitas y lo pones a asar con queso parmesano, sal, y pimienta
💙 Salsa de tomate:
🌟 7 tomates muy maduros, y chorrito de agua
🌟 ¼ cebolla
🌟 2 chiles chipotles
🌟 1 cda consomé vegetal de @sazonnatural
🌟 3 gotitas de pintura vegetal roja (opcional).
🌿 Licúa todos los ingredientes y pon la salsa a cocer hasta que hierva.
🌿 Mezcla la pasta con la salsa y decora con el pollo, perejil y láminas de queso parmesano.

Dr. Mandsager has been a strong supporter of Count the Kicks since our campaign launched more than 10 years ago. “Let me talk about what life was like before Count the Kicks. We knew as physicians that tracking baby’s movement in the third trimester was important. But we didn’t have the ability to get that word out on a consistent basis to both patients and physicians. So we did our best within our office to get that information out to patients, but we didn’t have the app, or the brochures to put up in our office and to hand to patients. Hey Mamas! I wanted to share some tips to help you jump start labour if you’re full term (38weeks and above). Most women deliver between 37-42weeks and 60% of women deliver at 38-40weeks. 
As you get closer and closer to your due date, your little one may be so comfortable in there that you haven’t had any signs of labour! But don’t worry, this is NORMAL!! A few things you can do to help along the process include: ✴️Exercise— going for walks or doing some squats can go a long way! ✴️Use your Yoga Ball and bounce from side to side on it! ✴️Have sex! This can help release oxytocin which is needed for labour! ✴️Nipple Stimulation— this can also release oxytocin! ✴️Drink Red Raspberry Leaf Tea— this can help tone and strengthen the uterus

MYTH BUSTER: If you’re counting kicks, you have probably heard the old adage 10-in-2, but this recommendation is actually outdated. 
Current research indicates moms should be focusing on understanding the normal amount of time each day it takes their baby to get to 10. Every baby is different, and by counting kicks daily in the third trimester, you’ll get to know what’s normal for YOUR baby so you can alert your provider if you notice a change.

It’s here and only here in our Father’s House that we find our true identity, and value, and worth. When we do we can cast off the opinions and expectations of others off because we come to realize that those things done truly matter. It’s in His presence that we can fully know and fully trust that we belong and we are welcome.
