HABITS FOR FAT LOSS⠀

I’m all for counting calories & food tracking...⠀
⠀
Especially for folks just getting started, or for anyone wanting to maximize their fat loss results 🔥⠀

Tracking Is the best ways to learn & memorize proper portion sizes. It’s also the only sure way of knowing if you’re consistently eating in a calorie deficit.⠀

But, there comes a time in every fitness enthusiast’s life when they’re no longer focused on losing weight...⠀

Now, they’re looking to maintain a healthy body, and at that point strict calorie counting just isn’t necessary for most people.⠀

There should always be some structure, though, which is where having a few fat-loss friendly habits come in handy!⠀

3. The One Plate Rule 🍽 - when you find yourself in a situation with lots ‘n’ lots of tempting foods (like a buffet or party), this habit comes in clutch. Essentially, you can have whatever you one, but it MUST fit *comfortably* on a single plate. I’d also try and keep each new food to ONE scoop/serving.⠀

4. Smart Snacking 🍎 - for a lot of folks, mindless snacking is the biggest culprit leading them to overeat. I try not to snack and stick to 3-4 bigger meals per day. if I do have a snack, I make sure it’s fruit or something with lean protein.⠀

MUM WOULD BE SO PROUD
When you were young, did your mum always try and shove veggies down your throat or disguise them for something else?🍏🥦🍓 Mine did!! I even do it to @ross_macnab now haha!! .
Our bodies need veggies and a tonne of vitamins and minerals to function optimally. Unfortunately with the world we live in it’s sometimes so difficult to get the right amounts through food, due to intensive farming and chemicals, and so I give my body an extra helping hand with my greens shot every morning… mum would be SO proud!! ☺️.
