Squat triples at 400 paused.
Bench 3 singles at 390.
Deadlift 3 singles at 480.
Very good week of training. Feeling my age this week but I still am on track of passing my totals from when I was 20. Fighting age and I appear to be winning.  I want to thank God for conitued good health and staying injury free.
Thanks to my daughter @katherine.elisabeth15
for her encouragement and spot. She also suggested paused squats and I like them. I also want to thank @moises_contrerasv and @camishanoble for convincing me to continue pause squats.

Staying inside for the safety of my baby and I. Right about now working out is the only thing that keeps my spirits up and keeps me from worrying.  Just thankful I’m able to workout during this time 🙏🏽. ⠀⠀⠀

Movement is a key component to improving mental health. It can reduce anxiety, depression, improve sleep, and boost your mood. As we at times tend to get lost in our thoughts,  we can use movements as simple as a quick stretch or a quick workout to interrupt those toxic thoughts. ⠀⠀⠀

Anyway back to this workout 👉🏽My legs were on 🔥 after this. If I could do it, you can do it! So let’s go! ⠀⠀⠀

Como diz, chegamos no meinho da semana dia ótimo para aproveitar a intensidade (Intensidade = Potência = Distância (ou repetições) * peso / tempo) como fator principal do treino.

Para o caso de hoje, utilizamos o EMOM que traduzido significa cada minuto no minuto, é um tipo de treinamento no qual a repetição de determinado exercício será feita em até um minuto, sendo que o período de descanso, será o tempo restante para completar este um minuto, caso já completado toda a repetição de movimento.

I wanted to try this one out using cheap pvc pipe, and it worked great! No need for an expensive stick to get in some great mobility work for the spine. Less than $10 @homedepot and you’ve got yourself a great exercise tool.

Thoracic mobility has become a buzzword among the health and fitness community. And hopefully it stays that way as it helps prevent neck, shoulder, and low back injuries. There is a lot of content out there on this topic that I can share with you. I for one have a very straight and very tight thoracic spine thus placing me at a higher risk of spinal injury. Thoracic mobility is something that I need to work on to not only prevent injury, but it helps me sleep more comfortably believe it or not. Before doing these types of drills I would be someone who would toss and turn throughout the night. Not anymore 🙌🏼.

Thoracic mobility is something that I need to work on to not only prevent injury, but it helps me sleep more comfortably believe it or not. Before doing these types of drills I would be someone who would toss and turn throughout the night. Not anymore 🙌🏼. __ To all you health and fitness junkies: try this one out! ⚡️SWEATY BODYWEIGHT HIIT ⚡️
I absolutely love HIIT workouts. They’re quick & give you a KILLER session. This took me about 25 minutes to complete and I WAS DEMOLISHED 🥵💦
•
Squat w/ alternating high knee: focus on driving the knee up & speed •
Plank walkout: if you spread your feet farther apart it makes it a bit easier I find 💭
•
Lemon squeezers: KEEP YOUR CORE TIGHT & focus on SQUEEZINGGG
•
Rotating pushups: use your knees to rotate & make sure to go all the way down!
•
Reverse lunge w/ knee drive: 10 each side & focus on going all the way down into the lunge & driving the knee upwards •
Chameleons: remain steady & controlled & really focus on squeezing your core
•
REPEAT x3 ROUNDS •
I don’t use a timer or anything, I just try to take the shortest rest times as I can. With HIIT workouts you should be giving them your all. REMEMBER IF YOU AREN’T GIVING IT YOUR ALL, YOU’RE ONLY CHEATING YOURSELF!!!! 💭⚡️🙈
