Was für ein Abend 👊🏼Nach 2 Jahren #läuferin 💓habe ich heute mein persönliches Ziel erreicht . Ich wollte bis zum April 20 die #10km geknackt haben .

Many of us won’t be able to celebrate with our traditional rituals and family gatherings, but we can take this time to develop some new traditions and give our bodies a personal “spring cleaning”

Do you know why weight-loss is so freaking hard ?
.
Because it requires patience and patience is one thing a lot of us don’t have.
.
We have been taught to be an ‘Instant’ society. Instant coffee, instant oatmeal, instant message 🤳🏻, instant download etc etc.
.
No matter what it is, we like things to happen fast. Instantly if possible. And there is nothing wrong with us liking it that way ... it is the norm now.
.
But weight loss will never be instant. In fact short time , our results can be invisible. We don’t immediately see more tone and muscle definition after a week of working out. We don’t suddenly drop 5lbs from eating one salad. And it is just not possible to have 6 pack after doing 20 crunches!
.
Thus we lose patience with the process and resort to old ways ❗️Because in the same way that losing weight takes time , gaining weight takes time ( we just get more instant enjoyment from it.)
.
We enjoy a cheeseburger and fries 🍔🍟 for lunch. Enjoying that meal gives us instant feeling of  pleasure and we wake up the next day not any heavier than the day before. So we continue that pattern until all of a sudden we notice that tightness around our belts.
.
Had we just realized that applying ourselves little by little towards a healthy lifestyle would grant us a far more powerful reward, perhaps we’d not be so quick to dismiss those little steps as meaningless.
. 👉🏻Everyone wants a magical formula for fat loss 🤕 well it is not possible. But what I can tell you is that the right steps when applied on a consistent basis will lead to unstoppable progress.

I can attest to that first hand!! Now Going on six years strong, happy and healthy!!
