“Be encouraged, wait well, and remember that even in the midst of great discomfort growth is promised”. I saw this quote a few weeks ago on @loveoffering feed and it struck a chord with me.
The hardest of seasons have been where I have stretched and grown most. The seasons of complete dark night of the soul worship and warfare. The seasons of confusion where you just try your best to wake up in the morning, and all you can really do is say I choose you God.
This “season “, is one I will say started the end of November. It has felt like each week the enemy has dumped something new on my shoulders. Health issues for myself and our family, unexpected financial burdens, unsettledness, frustration with things and people and scenarios that are out of our control. But I can see we have been growing all along. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .
The Psalms always bring a comfort because they are a reminder that humans from the beginning of time lived in a cycle of emotions and the Lord has handled it all with grace. It is only in his kindness and his love that I have been able to manage this season. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .
My request to you, (if you have read this far), is that you would be lifting up our family in prayer. We know that our Lord is healer, protector, provider, Jehovah, Yeshua, Papa. He is doing something in the season to grow us and shape us, and while it is hard, I know we will see the blessing of the growth in this season soon. - 26 minutes ago
