🛑 STOP. Slow Down 👇
Recently, our lives have been altered in one way or another. Due to the current global health situation we are facing: people are deathly sick, fearful of the market, loosing jobs, working long hours, on lockdown, thrown into new environments, and a host of other unfamiliar circumstances.
With all that being said, there is always some light in the darkness to be thankful for. Obviously, it’s not the unwelcome events associated with these times, but rather the ability *most of us now have* to slow down, decompress, and think in a higher state of consciousness.
Let’s be intentional in times like this my friends! Focus on what you can with what you have.
Here are a few of the movements I take my body through to conclude my day in a more relaxed state of mind. Turn off the lights. Turn on some soft music. Concentrate on your breathing... and just let your mind rest when trying these movements. This is a time I tend to think about all that I’m grateful for and ponder life’s greater purposes.
Lastly, for all those who have been directly impacted... I realize an additional allotment of time is something you are most likely not experiencing. You, and all the first responders who are working tirelessly are in my prayers 🙏. Thank you for everything you do.
