Sure I whinge and moan when the alarm first goes off and my head tries to play a plethora of games to try and convince me to sleep in and try again ‘tomorrow.’ That’s a given. 😜Thing is though...those little tomorrow’s build up fast and that to do list gets bigger and bigger until those attainable goals begin to look more and more unattainable and all of a sudden everything looks like a big ball of disorganised chaos.

Building a bigger back 💪
That and my butt have been a big focus of physical growth because of that prized “X taper” that is key to fitness model judging criteria!
That part may not be relevant anymore, but if I’m honest after I lost all my weight and three and a half cup sizes 👙, my lats are what help me hold up a strapless dress nowadays 🤪
For tonight’s program I primarily hit back and shoulders: including the following back exercises:
- Neutral grip pull ups (lats and a little bit of brachioradialis bias for the arms)
- Seal rows: middle and lower traps and I find I stabilise with my lower erector spinae as well.
- Single arm kneeling pull downs: to try and work on my objective strength imbalances in my lats.
- Single arm cable rear flys: rear delts (yeah more of a shoulder exercise but whatever 😉)
- Mag/hammer grip pull downs: lats
- Low close grip machine rows: middle/lower traps and rhomboids.
I’m due to deadlift tomorrow which is why I didn’t choose to fatigue my lower erectors much today— they will be workin’ tomorrow!
