These are some suggested activities for the week. Do one. Do some. Do none. It's up to you. Being able to maintain during this time is enough. 💛
1. Explore business loan opportunities and other relief options available due to COVID-19. If you are facing or anticipating any difficulties with your business, employment, or any other aspect of your life during this time, please research the many resources that have been made available. We have compiled several opportunities at barbeelawonline.com/relief-resources.
2. Update your business offers and marketing plan. At the beginning of this year, you likely made your plan of what your business would offer and how it would get the word out about the offers. If you can still operate your business (even in a different manner, such as online), consider your offers to be sure they make the most sense for what your target customers or clients need at this time and consider the messaging.
3. Review your contract templates or have them reviewed. Ideally, you will have your contract templates reviewed by an attorney to be sure that they adequately protect you in your most common business relationships. However, if not possible, you can at least take an initial look at your contracts and think through if you have had any issues with any sections at any time. You will want to especially consider if there have been any issues resulting from the current pandemic that you now know could have been better addressed in your contracts. To assist you in understanding your contract terms, we have a checklist that you can download at bit.ly/contracttermschecklist .
4. Maintain time limits on how much you watch, read, or listen to the news. You should, of course, obtain enough of the news to be informed. However, constantly taking in the news may lead to overwhelm and affect your effectiveness in your business.
