Monday’s right now can feel hard.
We’re used to waking up on Mondays with a time schedule.
Maybe to get your child to school
Start work at a particular time
Hop on a zoom with a client
But maybe you’re waking up on Mondays and they’re a little more quiet
A little more hectic
Or a little more uncertain
Maybe you’re sleeping in later
Getting less done
Feeling less productive
Maybe waking up on Mondays right now feels peaceful
But for some of you, maybe it’s causing stress, feelings of inadequacy and some productivity shame
So, here are my 3 tips to deal with Mondays
1️⃣Keep it light and treat it like any other day. I know waking up on Saturday’s and Sundays feel different. They’re more happy. Slow. Less pressure. So, bring that feeling to your Mondays. Learn to live a little more slowly. Do what makes you happy everyday. Don’t let Monday become jam packed day full of stressful tasks you maybe didn’t do over the weekend.
2️⃣Start the day by talking to someone who inspires you or uplifts you. Maybe it’s a coworker; another entrepreneur; your spouse; your bestie. Get your creative juices flowing by people who make you feel safe, loved and energized.
3️⃣Move your body. Be intentional on Mondays about moving your body in some way. Maybe it’s a kitchen dance party, a run, a workout or yoga. It will make you feel happier. Plus, if you can do it outside - even better!! You’ll feel happy AND grounded.
