Got all of my Christmas shopping done this morning and then followed that up with an amazing leg day. I upped my weight again and the pump and burn was more than real. I left feeling like I just got out of the shower with my clothes on 💦 that’s how to get that ishhh done! Happy Monday babes, I hope you week started off as good as mine ☺️💞

Clip 1: Squats w/bands for 3x3@8 with 285+120.

Clip 2: Power Good Mornings for 3x3 with 425. Set the safeties one notch too high, but it was too late.

Not to beat a dead horse over the whole “you look like a man” thing yesterday but I got a rant to say. This kind of things been on my mind for a while. People rarely want the whole. They only want the favorable parts. I’m gonna speak on the topic of females who body build and the responses they receive from men... Men will talk all day about how much they want a “fit girl”, but get uncomfortable when she can rival them in their lifts. They might talk about how they want a woman with muscular curves, but then get turned off that she trains her upper body just the same as her glutes. Men will love a “fit girl” when she posts a pic of her ass, but then tell her she looks like a man when she posts a pic of her upper body. The same men that look down on you for being “jacked” will be the same men in your DMs the next day sending heart eyes about your ass. Then those same guys who hit on girls online will make fun of them for being “basic” when they see them in the gym. The audacity is real. You can’t ask for the package and be mad when it comes with ALL the parts, even the ones you might not find “favorable”. Moral of the story: especially with peoples bodies— you don’t get to pick and choose parts you like or dislike because it’s NOT your place. To think that that’s even your right is to believe that you own that persons body. A body does not merely exist to be favorable to you or not, it belongs to THE OWNER in all of it’s beautiful entirety. Respect the whole or don’t even impose on the parts. 🖐 🎤 .

If you've misplaced your knives, rest assured.. I found them thoroughly embedded in the lumbar region of my spine. L2, specifically. 😂

Given the fact that my back has a tendency to go from ouch to immobilized in about 37 seconds, I've bypassed the gym these last few days in hope of letting it recover a bit.

Sometimes, I have to be my own motivation. I have to look back on MY version of my “prime,” just to prepare myself for what is coming. I was about 2-3 weeks out here and I was almost in shock, at what I had accomplished. I was mentally strong (the strongest I’ve ever been), physically strong and in the absolute best shape of my life. There are moments where I think I’ll never top this package.... but then I remember who the fuck I am. I am an athlete. I never give up and i always strive to be better than I was before. I’m here to be the best I can be and I’m here to inspire the people who aren’t too sure where their place is, in this world. You are allowed to be unsure of yourself, but you are NEVER allowed to give up on yourself and that message goes for me, too. Even if I have no idea what lies ahead for me, I am still prepared to take on anything and everything, with grace and confidence (even if I have to fake it in the beginning). So stay motivated, beauties. Don’t give up on yourself 💕
