I love listening to John Tesh! So much great advice! Yesterday he was talking about how checking things off your to-do list gives us a little bit of a jolt of euphoria.😍 Each day when I do my workout, I cross the day off my LIIFT4 calendar. I paid attention this morning to how it made me feel and he's right. I felt better when I was able to cross it off. I was proud of myself for achieving something for my health first thing. And I felt a sense of accomplishment that hopefully continues throughout my work day.
Typically in my every day life, I find making lists to be tedious but with my memory, I have to make them or I'll forget to do something.😳 There's nothing better than being able to cross something off my list or even better, crossing off the last item on my list!
Try starting today by making a list for yourself and include the things you want to achieve for your health. What do you want to do today? Besides the endless list of chores, do you want to eat healthy? Do you want to get a quick workout in? Do you want to get in bed by a certain hour? Add these to your list and refer to it throughout while planning to achieve as many things on your list as possible.
Remember, if you don't get them all marked off, that's okay! There's only so many hours in the day. Make sure you get the most important things done, including the ones about your health, and then the ones that didn't have to get done today (ex, researching Beachbody's collagen product) can always wait until tomorrow! 👍
