Today started out not so good. My sinuses were horrible and head felt.like it was going to fall off.
So I geared myself in another direction, did some nutrition group planning instead of working out and off to work I went in hoping that I could come home later and work out.
I got home tonight and was able to workout. But even if I had not, it's okay that life happens. I would have just picked up tomorrow where I left off....but I would make sure that tomorrow doesnt turn into more days.
This mentality has not always been mine. I was always so hard on myself with my fitness. I thought I had to work out everyday for an hour. Obviously this got me no where. I would fall off the band wagon because it wasnt realistic.
Its okay to take a day...or do things in moderation. If my neck pain flares up...well...then I work on core and legs.
So for those of you who are struggling and things dont go as planned...it really is okay. As long as you are moving forward at your own pace is what matters.
