▶️ Writing in a gratitude journal: developing an attitude of gratitude is a healthy and effective way to strengthen your emotional resilience and reduce stress. This week on @wholly_mother we are sharing a few of our favorite things. First up: this superfood smoothie that tastes like a chocolate milkshake. It’s made with superfoods and veggies that make it really creamy. 
I often crave this smoothie during my period and there’s good reason for that. Cacao is high in fats that keep us feeling satiated and fuel our brains. It’s also a source of magnesium (15g grams of Cacao has 102mg of magnesium. To give you a reference point, 30g of spinach contains 24mg of magnesium.) Cacao also contains alkaloids that interact with neurotransmitters in our brain, in turn making us feel calmer and happier. .
I like to steam and then freeze cauliflower to add to smoothies as a low sugar option. It makes it really creamy and has no taste. .
Dates can help to balance blood sugar, reduce high blood pressure and contain antioxidants. .
In your high powered blender add
(I made this in an old school- not high powered blender and it still works but you might get little bits of spinach and dates)
1 Tbsp Raw Cacao 
A handful of steamed then frozen cauliflower (you can also use a banana)
1 handful spinach 
1/2 C milk of your choice (I used macnut milk) 
1/2 Avocado (can also be subbed for banana or more cauliflower)
3-4 Dates

3⃣NO WIFI OR SCREENS AT NIGHT — did u know that ur brain/pineal gland cannot differentiate between actual physical light & EMF radiation from your phone and computer? we should only be getting from daylight & the sky. night time is for yellow/red light or none at all! candles, fires, sunset is perfect to help you wind down(: the lighting in our house plays a big role... every cell responds to light and tells us to stay awake or decompress. i have heard that wifi sends out a lot of radiation while u sleep so you can try shutting that off while you sleep or at the least just put ur phone on airplane mode (that’s what i do) it saves ur battery too! one last thing... if u can, try to put ur phone away from ur head not on ur nightstand! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Finally got round to trying some skincare products from glossier ! 
I needed some new serums so I opted for the “Super Bounce “ - hyaluronic acid & “ Super Glow “ - Vitamin C serums , these came as a duo . I use the Glow AM and  the Bounce PM . So far so good 😊 .

I also got the “Bubblewrap” eye and lip cream . I really like that this is a multi use product so I can use it on my eyes and lips 👄 it’s hydrating with a light creamy texture so far I’ve had no problems with it 💖😄

I’m thinking of getting the SPF or the exfoliant next.... 🤔 🧴 .
