When life gives you paper scraps, collage! Well, that's been my craft mantra for some time now 😃 Collaging had become one of those go-to activities for me to decompress and practice mindfulness. My mind enjoys being present, while my fingers play with paper, textures, colours, shapes. While it can bring back memories of a simpler time in life, I am also becoming aware that I can always access this quiet space within me.
Here's another project from my recent #crafternoon for @mindcharity : collaged gift tags. I left this up to the girls to decide on their individual collages - see last three photos. You too can put your own spin on Christmas #gifttags this year by whipping up a batch of these unique paper crafts.
Materials needed: Paper tags cut from A4 size sheets of coloured paper, bought on clearance at @flyingtiger. And ALL the scraps in my scrap bin, including gift wrap, wallpaper, handmade paper, glitter scraps (also from @flyingtiger ), washi tape. Of course, scissors and a glue stick.
Keep it simple or go crazy! Use this idea to tackle a pile of paper scraps, work with existing craft supplies, save money, and keep it sustainable! Anyone can make these, and I think this can be a fun one to do with kids 😃
