Morning #swim and afternoon #run in one of the very few places I can actually run outdoors in #Manila - a walking path away from traffic - which means I can do proper intervals! And yes... still the bad #goggles .
1.1KM SWIM, 35 MINS
• 250m warm up
• 500m intervals (50m fast, 50m slow)
• 250m breast stroke (just for a change!)
• 100m slow swim cool down
6KM INTERVAL RUN, 31:51 MINS (5:18 PACE)
• 14 min run (5:40 average)
• 10 min intervals (1 min fast, 1 min slow)
• Cool down run until reaching 6km
Breast stroke was harder than expected to maintain. It was really tiring!
The run was on an incline in 1 direction which made the fast interval doubly hard in some parts. I’m sure the GPS is off because I couldn’t have been that fast! It felt very good to do an outdoor run and spend most of it on the grass to be gentler on my knees. But it still pained a bit at the end. .
