Na, wer hat Lust auf Kuchen? Hier gibt es nun das Rezept für einen Pudding-Kuchen mit Schoko-Boden 😋
#rezept 🔺 für den Boden 50g keine Haferflocken, 50g Schoko-Proteinpulver, 50ml Wasser und 1 Euro zu einem ewig verrühren und in eine Runde (Silikon-) Form füllen
🔺 bei 180 Grad Umluft ca. 5 min backen und anschließend gut abkühlen lassen
🔺 für die Pudding-Schicht 60ml Wasser, 50g fettarmen Frischkäse, 37g (ein Päckchen) Vanille-Puddingpulver und Vanille-Chunkey-Flavour verrühren
🔺100g Quark und 100 ml Wasser verrühren und aufkochen, dann die Pudding-Masse unterrühren und auf dem Boden verteilen

Remember that when you are trying to make body composition changes, calories are the most important factor. Liquid calories will help tremendously for those of you who are trying to gain weight and struggle with getting enough food in. I like to use vanilla protein powder and cocoa powder instead of chocolate protein powder because it will give you a more authentic chocolate flavor. This same rule applies to baking with protein powder as well. Add cocoa powder to taste. If you like it chocolatey, add more. The ice is something else you can add to your liking. If you want a more ice cream like shake, add more. The banana doesn’t have to be frozen but it will help with texture if it is. .⠀

I know some of you may look at this and say “this has too much fat to be used post workout” and yes, it’s higher than you may want. It will slow down the absorption of the carbs and protein but if you’re trying to gain weight, calories should be prioritized before nutrient timing. If you can handle more volume of food and that’s not an issue for you, you could use skim milk and powdered peanut butter to lessen the fat. Adding in oats could increase the carb load. This would theoretically be better for a post workout shake but it is still fine as written 😎😎⠀

INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion chopped
2 garlic cloves crushed/minced
3 celery stalks chopped
3 long carrots chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon cayenne or to taste
15 ounce canned diced tomatoes with their juices
4 ounces tomato paste
6 cups vegetable broth low sodium
1 small white cabbage chopped

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onions, garlic, celery and carrots and sauté for a few minutes until fragrant and tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste, oregano and cayenne.
2. Stir in the diced tomatoes and the tomato paste and mix well with the other ingredients. Add the vegetable broth and bring to a boil. Stir in the cabbage and simmer for 20 minutes until cabbage softens.
3. Taste the soup and adjust seasoning as needed.

Pasta with Shortcut Spicy Turkey Ragu

More of the fresh pasta from @brittybob and @nic43 ! We had ground turkey and a jar of pasta sauce...Brandon wanted it spicy, so I added chili flakes. My secret ingredient (to just about everything) is a little miso. Just be sure to not add very much salt until after adding the miso. It gives the sauce a rich, umami flavor that we really enjoy! .

Serves 4
.
* 1 tbsp oil
* 1/2 onion, diced
* 4 garlic cloves, minced
* 1 lb ground turkey or chicken
* 3/4 jar of marinara sauce
* 1/4 white wine, optional
* 1/2 tsp chili flakes, optional
* 2 tbsp miso
* 1 lb pasta
* Parmesan for serving, optional
.
1. Bring large pot of salted water to boil for your pasta
2. Heat oil in high-sided skillet over medium heat. Add onions and pinch of salt. Cook until translucent, about 3 mins. Add garlic and cook for another min until fragrant
3. Add turkey and cook until no longer pink, stirring often with wooden spoon to break up into smaller pieces
4. Add marinara sauce, wine, & chili flakes. Cook for 3 mins, then turn heat to low. Add miso and stir until dissolved. Taste, and add more salt, miso, or chili flakes as needed. 
5. When water is boiling, add your pasta and cook to instructed time. Reserve 2 cups of your pasta water. Add pasta directly to sauce and mix together. Add pasta water a splash at a time to loosen your sauce. 
6. Serve immediately topped with grated Parmesan

HOT CROSS COOKIES (GF | VEGAN)

Soft and chewy, and bursting with that delicious Hot Cross Bun flavour. .
.
YOU WILL NEED:

1.5 cups almond meal
½ gluten free plain flour
1.5 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
½ cup coconut sugar
½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
¼ tsp ginger
1 tsp vanilla extract/stevia
⅓ cup almond milk
⅓ cup @organicroad coconut oil, at room temperature (should be slightly solid, or can sub for nutelex)
1 flax egg
⅓ cup raisins
¼ chopped walnuts (optional)
Dairy-Free White Chocolate, melted (for crosses)

HOW TO:

1️⃣Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius, fan-forced. 
2️⃣Cream the sugar, coconut oil, flax egg, and vanilla. 
3️⃣Add the salt and milk, and stir. Then add the almond meal, flour, baking powder and spices and combine with spatula. Lastly, fold through the raisins and walnuts (optional). 4️⃣Refrigerate batter for 20 minutes. 
5️⃣Scoop out a tbsp of mixture at a time, roll into balls and place of a lined baking tray. Flatten cookies with the back of a slightly wet fork. 
6️⃣Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden. 
7️⃣Allow to cool and then pipe on crosses with the melted white chocolate. .
