Lost 10 pounds in three weeks, feeling much healthier in general and my patience improves greatly everyday. I want to do my best for me. I am finding this whole lockdown INSANELY difficult to deal with, it is pressure and stress beyond anything I have felt but I just want to get through it. I have to cherish and love life so much more than I do now. 
I am my own crush today. I feel I deserve it.

Now is not the time.

Do your research. Have your opinion. But now is the time for survival and living with ourselves without our normal distractions. Not conspiracy theories, political agendas, fear mongering, and what you THINK you know to be plastered all over social media.

If you REALLY care so much, put that effort into thinking about the mental wellbeing of your friends and followers and stop the chronic posting and re-sharing of these subjects that cause major anxiety to so many. 
I’ve done my research, I have my opinions about things, and I’m keeping it to myself. Because my own mental health and the mental health of those that follow me is more important than anything I think I know right now. 
I’m usually very open about my stance on certain subjects, and I’m certainly not afraid to stand up for what I believe in, but now is not the time.

Thankful for the outdoors to break up these seemingly longer days! I don’t know about you all, but I’ve been ten times busier with work through this pandemic and have had to work even harder to create boundaries and still have my “me” time. Yesterday I took a mental health day and spent the day nurturing myself and the things I needed to do. I won’t lie, I had to give myself a pep talk to go outside and get some fresh air. It’s funny how we can know what will make us feel better, but it can still be hard to DO it. I wanted you to know if you’re struggling to get up and do the things you know will make you feel good, I’m right there with you. Hoping you are getting some sunshine and fresh air-or at least finding ways to break up your day to find moments of peace. Try your best to prioritise both your physical and mental health.⁣

Finding yourself eating a little more than normal? Who cares? If that’s you’re biggest worry right now I’d say your doing pretty damn well.⁣

Exercise if you want to.⁣

Chase your fat loss goals if you want to.⁣
⁣
Go for a walk if you want to.⁣

Do yoga if you want to.⁣

Put Netflix on if you want to.⁣

But don’t feel guilty if you don’t feel like doing any of that right now.⁣

You’ve likely got loved ones you’re worrying about⁣

Self criticism seems to be at an all time high lately. We’re expecting ourselves to manage our lives as if we’re not in the middle of a global pandemic. But we are! And none of us has ever experienced something like this. We aren’t supposed to know how to handle it.

Past traumas that you’ve previously worked through could be starting to resurface. Anxieties about whether you’re a good parent, partner, friend, and person are elevated. Feelings of loneliness and isolation may feel unbearable. Socioeconomic disparities are magnified. The tensions and unhealthy aspects in relationships might make your home an unsafe space. So many things happening right now are really scary!

Show the same compassion to yourself that you would show to others. Take care of the basic needs you have. Listen to your body and provide it with what it’s asking for.

As you figure out what your experience looks like during this trying time, remember to be kind to yourself.
