In the summer of 2020, she decided to go on a solo trip. She loved beaches, so off she went to a quaint little beach town where she wouldn't be disturbed by too many humans. She stayed in an old hotel, right near the sea. Her room was facing the sea, everyday she would see the summer sunrise. The pink and gold light always dazzled on the canvas of the white sky. Each evening, she went to the beach, bare legged to soak her feet in the green of the ocean and to feel the sand stick to her wet toes. It would often rain while she was building sandcastles and gathering shells and off she would go to the ice cream vendor and ask for two cones of vanilla ice cream, her favorite flavor. Before the rain could melt the cream, she would gobble down those cones. Drenched, she would go back to the solitude of her room. She could hear the soothing waves and the angry pellets of rain drops and also the melody of flute from the hotel lobby. She smiles and immerses herself in the ivory pages of a thick ink blue hardbound classic. Her friends would call this as a day spent in the loneliness of a hotel room but for her this was bliss. She fell asleep reading, with a soft smile on her face.
