Mindful eating é cultivar a atenção plena e consciência  no momento q comemos! É aprender a saborear o q escolhemos! E me veio esta semana  a seguinte questão: porque no universo dos alimentos temos vários sabores? Porque nosso paladar está habilitado a reconhecer todos estes sabores ?E particularmente porque alimentos azedos e amargos? E me dei conta que é fácil no piloto automático buscar sabores doces...mas apreciar sabores diversos do habitual requer sutilezas e dedicação pra apreciar e aprender receitas que revelem este alimento 
E fiz um paralelo com o q estou vivendo neste momento em minha vida: situações desafiantes e inesperadas me convocam a se fazer presente para aprender com este contexto que não é fácil mas que ampliam e enriquecem a gama de sabores que vou compondo no balaio de minha vida
E pra vc? Já parou pra pensar q sabores aprecia? E q tal experimentar e provocar novos sabores? E o q isto tem a ver com sua vida?

❓Pero, ¿Qué pasa con el tiempo de calidad enfocado en vos?⁠⠀

🌱No le dedicamos el tiempo necesario a registrar cómo estamos, qué necesita nuestro cuerpo, qué niveles de energía está manejando o qué le vendría bien en este momento⁠⠀

Venimos programados para hacer. Y cuando más hagamos en el menor tiempo posible, mejor aún.⁠⠀

Today is January 17 aka Ditch New Year's Resolution Day!  Who even knew this was a thing!  It just so happens that today is the day when a large number of people abandon their New Year's resolutions. In fact only 8% of people actually follow through with their resolutions and don’t quit! 
Ii am not one of the 8%. You don’t have to be part of the 8%. Find a workout program and nutrition plan you love.  Make it fit into your life ...don’t struggle to make it happen...it doesn’t have to be that way.  Join an accountability group with a group of others that have your back and won’t let you quit!  And if you need help with all that message me!  Join us! We indulged at @ruthschris last night and the gratitude hit me especially hard. Guess you could say Filet Mignon had me feelin some kinda way.⁣

Vegan Carrot and Sweet Potatoes creamy soup.

This is one of the best soups I make.
Its silky texture and gentle sweetness and grounding taste will make of this soup a favourite during the cold, dry and windy months of fall and winter.
~
INGREDIENTS:
* 4 medium carrots * 1 large sweet potato
* 1 medium sweet onion
* 2 small garlic cloves * a small piece of fresh ginger
* Spices at your own discretion considering your dosha and weather:
Turmeric, cinnamon, nutmeg.
* About 1/2 cup homemade cashew “milk”

PREPARATION:
* Heat ghee or the oil of choice and add the onion, then ginger and garlic.
* Add the spices. * Add the vegetables.
* Cover with water and cook until vegetables are tender.
* Add salt and pepper to taste.
* Blend and add cashew milk.
* Garnish (optional) hemp and sunflower seeds.

This creamy soup can be a good choice for balancing Vata and pitta dosha.

TIGER NUT FLOUR; Finally used mine.  We made chocolate chip cookies.  We used  the recipe on the back of the bag, only instead of a flax egg I used 2 egg yolks (no whites) and they turned out super yummy. Fun Fact; it's not actually a nut it's a tuber/root.  People who have nut allergies can have this flour (usually). The flour has a slightly nutty sweet flavor and it's packed with fiber, maganese (minerals), it's low on the glycemic index, and wait for it….may be an aphrodisiac.  I'll have another cookie please!!! I will be posting more recipes and more ways to use this yummy flour-- so check back with me…Have a great weekend!!!! Do something fun!!! •
