Lunge To Balance
Body balance is the foundation of a fit body and is particularly helpful for preventing falls and fall-related injuries.
Walking lunges is a great “Functional workout” and helps to improve balance, posture and flexibility.
A workout like this also can be key to long-term fitness, weight loss, and overall wellness. 
Also, walking lunges need little space, so you incorporate them into just about any location. You can add a few sets while at the park, at work, in your living room or hotel room while travelling.
If you want to present a great challenge to your sense of balance, then try a nature path, with its tree roots and rocks. 
This seemingly basic exercise has the following benefits:
1) It Improves body balance and coordination.
2) Gives a better body posture
3) Helps one achieve a symmetrically toned body
4) It improves the body functionality
5) Improves hip flexibility
6) Strengthens core muscles
7) Helps to rest your spine
As a precaution, just pay close attention to your form. Remember to always engage your abdominals and lower back—this helps to maintain balance and reduce the chances of tipping over.

This weekend was all about these sweet angels! A very rainy hike (queue wet, stinky doggie photo!), wine tasting with wonderful friends, Home Alone🍿(one of my fave movies of alllll time!) sleeping in and all of the snuggles 🥰 Carving our time with the people (and animals!) I love has been challenging over the last several weeks but is so important, especially as I am preparing to embark on one of the biggest moments of my life. Soaking up these last few days at home with everyone I love has been such a wonderful blessing. Happy Holidays!

#holidayhealthhack !!! SOMETHING is ALWAYS better than nothing!!! It is a busy month, you may not have time for an hour long workout, so here is a quick #dumbellcomplex you can try this week! Warm up, then use ONE set of #dumbells , in this continuous flow of exercises-- DO NOT put the dumbells down the whole time, to keep your heart rate up! Choose a set of dumbells appropriate for the "weakest link" move/hardest move (in this case, the press):
1. 5 #Pushups 
2. 5 #weightedsquats
3. 5 #shoulderpresses
4. 5 #lunges (round 1&3: right leg, round 2&4: left leg)
5. 5 #dumbellrows
Rest 1 minute, then repeat the complex 4 times MINIMUM -- you have worked your whole body, and there is a cardio effect as well!
