How are you doing? Wow, what a difference a few weeks makes! I don’t know about you, but I struggled this weekend to keep my spirits up without an end date in sight for this whole unbelievable situation!
I’m so worried about those who have gotten the virus, or who’ve lost their jobs. And I feel scared and devastated for those whose loved ones are fighting for their lives while they’re unable to be with them. I also can’t stop thinking about (and I’m so grateful for) all of the doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers out there risking their own lives for all of us.
I feel guilty and selfish even feeling sorry for myself for a second when so many people out there have real struggles and forever losses.
With that said. It’s been difficult to decide what to post that’s sensitive to what’s going on and also positive & authentic. The truth is, this is really hard. I miss so many things I used to take for granted. I’m sure you do to!
With all the unknowns & things outside of our control, it’s helpful (at least for me) to stay busy, create a plan for each day, and to keep strong (emotionally, mentally, & physically). It’s hard not to overeat out of boredom, and to motivate to exercise at home (even changing out of the previous night’s pajamas is difficult) But we have to!
In my latest post on Self-Care At Home, I give a ton of disability friendly products, apps, and website recommendations I’m using while social isolating. I hope you’ll find them helpful! Go to my Link I’m bio or Trend-Able.com to read.
