What an awful week. First, last week I didn't post because I didnt lose any weight. Now this week I gained 6lbs back. Awful! Also not sure how accurate this weigh in actually is due to just finished eating dinner. A different kind of transformation post & some rest day thoughts 💭

I started this journey a few years ago with a goal to lose weight and it took some time but I did it. Looking back at these pictures I didn't even realise how lean I was back then (left pics), but I was the leanest I had been in a long time, maybe ever. •
•
After last summer my motivation started lacking and I gained some weight back. I stopped seeing results which also added to the lack of motivation. 
Before Christmas work was very stressful, I had longer days and I used a lot more energy than I had before so I was tired all the time. I was wayyy too tired to go to the gym and if I went the sessions weren't good. Because I couldn't quit my job (duh) I decided to take a break from training instead. I also started eating more hoping that would help me get some energy back (spoiler alert: this was a game changer!!!) •
•
After New Years I started feeling better and the holiday stress at work settled down. I was finally able to start training again just in time for the  Gymshark66 challenge, which has given me an extra motivation boost. •
•
Sometimes life gets in the way and sometimes you have to let it. I actually don't mind the extra weight nor am I discouraged because i know this is what my body needs right now. I also have a fresh start and a chance to get in even better shape than I was last year 🙌🏻
Annnddd I feel GOOD, which is the most important thing 💗

Hi. New start. New beginnings. I'm Emma I've always struggled with my weight. I've now got child bearing hips so I know I'll never be a size 8. However I'd like to fall into a healthy bmi and feel fitter and better. Why now? Every year I promise myself I'll be good and by a few months in I fail and go back to bad habits. This time is different. In july my dad was taken to hospital with heart issues hes since lost 4 stone and his health has dramatically improved. Really inspirational but also a kick up the arse if I want to be healthy for my boys growing up I need to get my game on.
