With every change in life come sacrifices. Some are necessary and some are more of an “accident”
Let me explain. Once we all got quarantined, we had to cut our in person socializing- that was a necessary sacrifice(it’s not that bad really though). Also, with more work in front of a computer, I cut down on voluminous meals and started to replace them with quick meals and snacks, and that is an accidental sacrifice as with good planning of my meals (and taking care of good sleep schedule) I wouldn’t be reaching for snacks and sweets
After working with @kasheymethod for such a long time, I now know the power of writing things down - thoughts, feelings, emotions - everything.
While it may seem silly, it works incredibly well. So I started writing down my feelings before grabbing a snack (that I know for sure would sabotage my progress I have made so far). “I want a snack because I am lacking energy (drained by computer screen, not enough oxygen inside, less than usual sleep)”. What can I do to overcome this, get energy in a different way? I can build my schedule with 10 min breaks every hour and get outside for a quick walk.
Writing out the sabotaging thought AND how I overcame it allowed me to cut down on snacks and continue with my goals (and made me feel so much better as well)
Today I went for a 20 min walk but ended up running for 20 mins in the parking lot😂 because you can’t kick the runner out of me 🏃♀️ What is your ONE sabotaging thought and what can you do to overcome it?
