Earlier this morning in my live session I promised another photo after I had processed all my data, and here it is! One of the challenges with celestial events is not being able to plan around perfect conditions, so it is hard to get a polished shot. However the beautiful asymmetry of the clouds can offer a unique perspective, as if nature took a paintbrush to contribute to the photo.
The first photos I shared this morning were single exposures straight out of the camera, versus this one which is an HDR blend of exposures from 3 different optical assemblies and two different cameras. This allowed me to capture the scene with a great range of detail that wouldn't otherwise be possible.
