What drives you?

Be honest.

...because being able to identify your primary motivator can be extremely productive.

People ask me all the time, “hey man, how do you stay so motivated all the time?”
•••
Well, first of all - I’m not motivated all the time. Nobody is.
•••
But, second - I’ve simply taken time to figure out what motivates me more than anything, and I latch on to it every single day.
•••
So, naturally, I’ve thought about this question a lot and I’ve come to a few different conclusions...
•••
First, I’ve realized that while money is a motivator for a lot of people, for me, it’s not.
•••
Coming to that conclusion was important because, for a time, I’d just use it as a “default” motivator and it wasn’t very effective.
•••
So, if it’s not money, what is it?
•••
I mean, intuitively, I knew the answer. I just couldn’t put my finger on it - I couldn’t describe it.
•••
I thought about it
•••
And, I thought about it
•••
And, I thought about it...
•••
Finally, it came to me.
•••
It’s still hard to describe because it’s not an actual thing...
•••
It’s a feeling.
•••
And, some of you may have never even experienced this before so you’ll have no idea what I’m talking about...
•••
But, it’s that feeling that you get when you walk into a situation...
•••
It could be a meeting
•••
It could be a football game
•••
It could be a crowded room
•••
Or it could be a fist fight 🤷‍♂️
•••
... but when you walk in, everybody notices.
•••
Nobody says anything, because don’t need to.
•••
You’re there to take care of business and that’s exactly what you’re going to do.
•••
They know it, and you know that they know it.
•••
That’s what motivates me.

One of the BIG things we did last year that had a profound effect on our lives was we took an allergy test. ⁠

It was super simple. We took a sample of our hair and sent it to The Allergy Testing Company. The results were SHOCKING. ⁠

We ended up finding out that we were allergic to foods that we were eating on a regular basis. For me, it turns out I’m allergic to black pepper - and I put black pepper in freaking EVERYTHING! ⁠

My beautiful wife, Angel, found out that she was allergic to chocolate and flax seed - both of which she was eating on an almost daily basis! ⁠

Figuring this out was a total game changer for us. Removing the allergens we didn’t know we had from our diets made a huge difference. We stopped feeling as much digestive distress. We saw our inflammation go down. We suddenly started getting results again after we’d hit a plateau. ⁠

Meet Karen!  Karen worked her butt off and stayed committed.  She backed into her why and crushed it.  She lost 7lbs and no longer felt pain.
