What’s your dinner look like?!

This evening: SWIPE ◀️ to see the plating 👌🏽
MAIN: Seared Pork Loin with mango and pickled ginger
SIDE: daikon, raddish, carrot, cabbage, kale slaw
.
How?
1️⃣Pork loins
- get a pan to high heat with 4 tbsp of grass fed butter
- place the pork loins season side down away from you (prevents from splashing) and season the top as well with salt and pepper
- 3mins/side will give it a good sear
- add 6 cloves of garlic and thyme
- baste with the butter
2️⃣Mango pickled ginger salsa
- dice a red mango and slice the pickled ginger (already pre-made before using)
3️⃣Salad
- thinly slice the carrots, daikon, and raddish, chop the cabbage and toss in a bowl
- you may add a light yogurt dressing but I whisked Greek yogurt/honey/lime/Himalayan salt to taste

“Don’t wish for it, work for it”

That is what Hailey asked me about when she saw a page of my daily nutrition tracker ➡️. It says “don’t wish for it, work for it” sweetie. She looked at me and asked what does that mean...?
.
I said if you want something, don’t just say you want it, don’t just wish for it....you need to work super hard for it.
.
Isn’t that the truth. This whole nutrition fitness thing isn’t rocket science but it is hard bcuz we’re constantly tempted and have outlying distractions.
.
I know I’ve been giving into my emotional triggers and over indulging during quarantine.
.
It feels good in the moment but then the guilt sets in and I literally feel like crap so I wish I didn’t give in. But that’s life!!
.
I want to leave quarantine feeling in control and healthy. I know I feel so much better when I don’t over indulge and follow my plan 80/20. .
I know I have the tools. They are simple and easy to follow. YOU just need to do the work and follow them 😉😘

I assume healthy nutrition is way more important for the elderly in our homes. They need it for their degenerative bones, their sensitive gut, to fight infections and to stabilise their ageing organs. 
Agree? 
I was just sitting in my late Grandmother’s room yesterday and I could just think that why wasn’t I in this field before, why din’t I give her the necessary nutrition? She had diabetes, B.P and we were too young to understand what was going on with her. 
It so happens that we still live with our Grandparents and we love them the most. This nutrition plan is a step closer to give them a healthy, energetic and happy old age!
