Starting Monday off with a warming bowl of porridge oats and chia seeds cooked in almond milk, then topped with pear, fig, crunchy peanut butter (always crunchy for me ๐Ÿ˜‰), kefir and cinnamon.โฃ
โฃ
I like to soak the porridge oats and chia seeds in the almond milk on waking, then go about making a hot drink, doing a few morning stretches and my usual morning chores ie unloading the dishwasher ect. โฃ
Soaking the oats means they are much kinder on the digestive system and creamier too. โฃ
โฃ
The oats provide a great fibre base, then it's just a case of adding in your favourite toppings for a mix and match brekkie. Think in terms of colour and a variety of fruit to keep things interesting and top with a portion (1tbsp) of healthy fats from nuts, nut butters or seeds to keep you fuelled. โฃ

1. You can eat more for less (calories). This is especially important for people like me - I have a BIG appetite and find I have to eat quite a lot to get full.

It is absolutely ok if you have fallen off track for a little bit and are having a little trouble refocusing. You are definitely not the only one. But now is definitely not the time to be giving up!

I took a week off gym a couple of weeks ago when things with Covid news started to develop, and then gym was closed from last week so I had to work with my coach @livingbeautyamelia to redesign my training so that it can be completed at home.

I have written a home based training plan to start soon, and have also been using the 4WBB plan for the past week. Today I will be doing a leg day that Amelia has sent me as well.
.
This is my 14th prep and It is not the first time I have had to improvise with some sessions at home. It absolutely can be done โœ…. I have 6 titles and placed in every competition I have entered and I have achieved this using training at home many times.

If you have struggled to get your hands on gym equipment, this is also only temporary. Do what you can, with what you have - this doesnโ€™t mean you cant keep looking for some equipment in the mean time and gradually add to your home gym over time.

My gym @culturefitness247 Have kindly rented out some of their equipment to members as well so it may be worth checking this option with your gym.

Donโ€™t give up, adapt.
