My Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner of Champions 😋😋😋!

Had this AMAZING plate as my OMAD today (one meal a day)! Then I'll fast again for 23 hours.
.
How the hell do I eat only one meal a day you ask? 😂
.
By eating foods that are FILLING.... infrequently.
.
This is 1 lb. Of New York Sirloin Steak, plus 4 eggs, 3 bacon strips, and 1/2 avocado.
.
Why is this so dang filling?!
1️⃣ It's REAL FOOD from the planet (not packaged or processed or stripped of fat)
.
2️⃣ It has plenty of protein & fat to keep you full (foods that don't spike your blood sugar levels, thus keeping your insulin hormone low, allows your body to know you're full. Foods that spike your blood sugar and also spike insulin impair your brain's "fullness hormone", leptin)
.
3️⃣ I'm not restricting calories in any way! I'm simply eating all my FILLING calories in a one-hour eating window. .

Been signing lots of petitions, donating, and spreading awareness for #BLM and educating myself on being anti-racist this week. I’m very proud of the self-growth and knowledge I have acquired. There are protests happening in my city this weekend and it makes me very happy.

But I did bake! @keto.luna’s dough with my own modifications as per usual. This was a VERY high hydration dough. Not dense and very moist. This was from last week, actually, but it was very fun. I decided to try this new design for #sausagebuns that I saw from @maangchi YouTube video with a super clean turkey sausage I got at Whole Foods. If you know me, you’ll know I stay as far away from pork as I can not only because I love pigs, but because of the GMO corn and soy that’s in their feed that contributes to their high polyunsaturated and omega 6 fat content.

So beef hot dog buns and Korean sausage buns it was! The filling in the middle is made with this coconut oil keto mayo, red peppers, white onions, and mushrooms. The Korean version has corn but that’s a little too carby for me 😌

Feeling great this week irregardless. Met up with friends, family walks, lots of baking, new TV shows, good body image and weight is coming off for some reason. Probably going to make cheesecake tonight!

Haven't baked anything in a while... So thought it was time to bake this Keto Matcha Roulade Cake! I adapted it from a keto chocolate Swiss roll cake! I replaced the cocoa powder with 2 tbsp matcha powder and made a whip cream filling instead. Also adjusted the sweetness of the cake to my own preference. Definitely making this again the the future as a matcha lover!

If you feel like you have failed at weight loss you are not alone. A survey of people that lost their desired amount of weight and kept it off for 5 years or more revealed the follow fact:

The average number of serious sustained attempts at losing their weight was 7.  A serious sustained attempt was defined as 6 months or longer. 
You learn when you fail. You gain information when you binge. You become stronger.

T-bone Steak topped with sautéed mushrooms and onions with Sweet and Spicy BBQ Chicken (@ghughessugarfree). I actually really liked the sauce! First time trying it and I would definitely buy again. Gonna try the honey flavor next 😛 Something about the taste of beef fat when it hits my taste buds, makes my whole body seem to celebrate. I legit could eat a steak every day and be a happy zombree! It is so satisfying and tasty every time! 🥩

Then the innovator in me wants to try new things because why limit yourself to one? I still do want to do a beef fast in the future as well, I think I would actually really like it! Going to try to do a 72 hour fast with the @redmondrealsalt community unfortunately with the lack of their salt because the line at whole foods was unbearably long and we just needed salt so we decided against it. I have some himalayan pink salt that I will supplement with instead to get me through, it is what it is. 🤷‍♀️ I may just go for 48 hours though beginning Monday depending how my body reacts! 🤪

Do you fast? If so, how often and how long do you usually fast for? What's the longest fast you have done and what helped you through? I appreciate any help for this! Doing it mostly to help increase body fat loss as well as autophagy! 🧟‍♀️ ❤

I ended up doing #omad yesterday, broke a 24 hour fast with homemade gnocchi in garlic butter sauce (holy crap the effort of making gnocchi was worth it!!).
