Well, this ‘quick’ business is really not that quick, come on! The washing, chopping, grating etc takes for ever 😏 I have to confess 🤪😂 Anyway, this dish is a great family favorite. I mix whatever flour I have on hand - besan, cornflour, almond meal, rice flour, urad dal flour, etc. add the finely chopped or grated veggies : I used carrot 🥕, cabbage 🥬, all mix greens 🥬, beetroot. Spices : ginger, green chili, red chili 🌶 powder, cumin powder, salt and a pinch of sugar.
I had a bowl of buttermilk that I decided to use instead of water. Made the batter to rest for half an hour before making the chilla for lunch. Served with coriander mint chutney in yogurt, molaga podi and fresh butter 🧈 😛😝 🍋🥦🥬🥒🌶🥕🧄🧅🥔🧈 - 10 minutes ago
