I need you to know this; you will find your way! And you will learn to live with grief and loss.
You won't get over it.
Your life isn't ever going to be the same, and you will feel as if you can't wake up from the nightmare.
If you ask me how long it will take, we can't measure grief and loss by time or by emotions. We instead can only gauge it by learning day by day how to live after loss.
How does someone live after loss?
It's different for every single person; no two people grieve the same.
Why am I speaking on grief and loss as if I know it all? I don't know it all, but I do know how to guide someone through their journey of grief and loss. I lost both of my parents and my many daughter Chloe ( hence, the name of my brand- After Chloe), and I quickly learned that traditional ways of coping with grief and loss weren't a way that worked for me. I began to study all forms of grieving, mourning, and bereavement, and now ten years later, here I am with proven ways to help you find yourself and life after loss. It’s not me; it’s you doing the work. And it’s a distinctive way that only is for you. It’s yours. I have had so many tell me, I am ok- I have gotten over my loss, or someone told me I should be over my loss - and unfortunately I can’t be your grief director, but instead a guide that can show you different ways that you can incorporate grieving into your life. Ways to find your life after loss. Ways to work through the pain, the sadness, the loneliness, and that isn’t to state that it ever goes away, but there are ways to deal with the waves and torpedos of grief as it comes.
And know that I am not for everyone, and if I am not for you, I know so many amazing souls to help you on your journey of grieving and living. Lovely one, that’s right, you can do both!
All my love and all my grace!
Will you comment below, how you manage your grief and loss day today? I would love to know!
