Happy Wednesday everyone! This is not petite related, but I just had to share this because this whole quarantine fascinates me when it comes to what the future holds, especially as a business owner...•
It was so interesting yesterday morning - Ali Kaplan was on The Jason Show stating her opinion on the future of shopping. She said fashion shows were not needed since we can attend virtually + who wants to see fall clothing in the spring? 🤨 It would save so much time and stress on designers since they have to prep so far ahead of time. She also mentioned that curbside will continue which I could see that...maybe? 🤷♀️ I'm doing it right now for my clients, but they sometimes have to come back to do a few returns since they can't try anything on (that's even if the stores were open as fitting rooms will not be able to be used).
But the one thing I will 100% agree on is virtual is here to stay! I am saving SO MUCH time and money on gas just because I'm doing all my networking meetings via Zoom, even virtual wardrobe consults; Now speaking on this, it allowed me as a business owner to think outside the box on a service that normally wouldn't have been offered + it's a shorter, more free flowing of a consult where you can get your fashion questions answered quickly at a very affordable rate. I have always been a firm believer that self-care should not be ignored because you can't afford it..which yes, fashion is definitely a self-care and psychological aspect of our lives.•
So what do you guys think? What do you think is here to stay and what is going to go back to normal? ⬇️ - 7 minutes ago
